Hi Mirek thank you for your excellent work. I found out that even when the WiFi is turned off (and the searching when WiFi off in advanced settings is also disabled) in battery stats WiFi still seems to be on and draining battery. Could you please take a look at it. Thank you again.

Thx @mirek at first, I have the same @Honza problem, seems that wifi continuosly scans for a network, I also noticed that on airplane mode the tablet drain more than whit wifi on… is it correct? Hope in a solution to turn this tablet a mipad 2 competitor (with its 4Gb of RAM).

    Thx again!

Windows 10 recognition problem: SOLVED (after installed all drivers)

turn on tablet with android, connect usb to the tablet and PC, open the FLASHER_v1.1-(-just_press_twice-).bat and choose the 1 or 2 option, when it appears <waiting for device>, turn off tablet, use power on volume – and volume + to turn on tablet in dnx mode, if everything is ok flashing progress starts to run.

Is there any way to customize the navbar (aka the navigation bar or home touch buttons)?  It currently has the standard [back], [home], and [program history] buttons plus [screenshot], [vol-], and [vol+].  I’d love to be able to have some other on-screen buttons than screenshot and volume control.

If anyone wants to remove the Camera/Volume from the navbar, I have just released the first of my rom patches for this device here

    Hello,
Mirek great job. I would like to ask if it is possible set in someplace the menu as the primary storage device SD card, or how to move the apps to SD-card (Link2SD does not work). Sorry my English. Thanks

Great job Mirek. Just made a clean install. Everything went smooth and with great results. Many thanks.

Has you said before, I know you didn’t have the time to try to solve the Wi-Fi location issue but…  any clue about what might be wrong? Are you planning to try to fix it? Many apps use location, like google now, and the only workaround I found was using a fake GPS app…

    Again, great job!!

Thank you, Karl – I would love to geht rid of the ‘camera’ only and have everything else centered. Is that doable as well? Cheers, F

Yeah I can do that, I will update my patcher to have that option.

Hello, thank you for that great piece of work.

I received my x98 pro (so K9C6) few days ago, instantly flashed your rom and it’s really nice. The camera is not working either on the K9C6. Seen your first post saying K9C3 had a camera issue, don’t know if you meant K9C6 has also the issue. Anyway, not a big loss for me.

Second issue would be the battery life, maybe my tablet is defective but definitely the battery life is shorter on Android than Windows. Tried to recalibrate the battery (which acts quite weirdly on both OS) by booting on Android, wait til it reaches 10-20%, reboot and wait for the tablet to shut down in the boot selection. Then full charge but it didn’t work apparently.

That battery inaccuracy is really the biggest fail of this tablet because it performs nicely and the screen is fantastic.

Keep up the great work and thank you again.

    Hello there!

Thank you Mirek for this awesome rom! I only used Windows since november, but with your rom, I love the new feeling of this android tablet!

    I have only two questions:

Is there any way to use the android stock launcher? I dont need the addons of the Apex, and this launcher reloads every widget and button when I go back to the homescreen.

The other question of mine, all of you have the volume up, down and screenshot buttons on the navbar? Can I get rid of it?

Keep up the good work! 🙂

    ps: Both cameras work here.
