Yes, it is manjaro xfce. My emmc drive disappear, I assumed I could use SD Card but it is not showing.
April 28, 2017 at 9:40 pm #66233I tried to upgrade the ubuntu on my internal drive to 17.04 but it crashes. I don’t know if it is related but the emmc drive had disappeared, it may have die.
I try a live boot with ubuntu 17.04 but it doesn’t change much. Touchpad don’t work and I have error message in dmesg. I just try last version of Manjaro 17.0.1. Touchpad don’t work but I don’t have any error in dmesg, it looks better.
April 28, 2017 at 9:17 pm #66232Hi,
Same issue with emmc for me. I had double boot with ubuntu. I turned it on only to upgrade it from time to time. Last week, Windows insider and ubuntu upgrades both failed. I try to reboot few times but at last I only get EFi shell. Now when I run live-usb, there is no storage anymore … ?

August 8, 2016 at 6:27 am #46074Good news: the multi-touch on the touchpad is working. I’m currently busy though so I can’t really work on this laptop at the moment.
How ? Have you done something special ?

November 1, 2015 at 8:17 pm #14694If you want to backup only app and data on android you could use the adb tools
In a terminal use “adb backup -all” to create a backup.ab file and “adb restore backup.ab” to restore it.
October 29, 2015 at 9:51 pm #14491Hi,
I’m still trying to install linux on my Teclast x98 Air 3G. For the moment I only can boot my tablet with live Ubuntu Wily, written on windows with rufus before copying the efi 32bits file.
I may have some shitty usb hub and usb pen but it doesn’t work every times. The boot process often hangs, some “no media found” error. When I finally arrive to ubuntu desktop, I can’t install cause the system seems to access only to the 7 firsts partitions. That’s androids ones I want to keep.
When I use Ubuntu from the USB pen, it looks ok. The touch screen is working, only inversed. Sadly, after few minutes the tablets hangs, I’m not sure if it comes from bad contact in the hub, kernel issue or bad cluster on the pen…
Tonight I tried Mint without success.
to be continued…
