    I bought a new plus 2 tablet and it is a C2D6.

What are the differences between C2D4 and C2D6 ?

Can I use the android C2D4 files for flashing the C2D6 ?

    Thank you !

I don’t want to install a new distribution, I want to boot on my usb key with already my distribution installed. (don’t care about touchscreen support etc…)

It’s UEFI, BIOS etc… it’s a norm, not supposed to be dependent on the distribution.

With files gave in the first post, no. It seems the partition(s) doesn’t have the right size but maybe the problem is deeper.

It’s a pretty new tablet, wait and I am sure RemixOs will be available soon.

    Update: go here: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/remixos-2-0-x98-plus-ii-2-working-but/

    I have a C2D4 x98 plus II, it doesn’t work.

I ran android, then tried to flash RemixOs (Remix.Os.Teclast_x98plus-2.0-5.1.1-B2016042001-signed), it works at the beginning but failed when the system.imf flashing.

On the tablet, written in red: “Attempt to skip outside of partition”, “Erasing system… System done. Receiving xxxxbytes… Flashing system …” and again “Attempt to skip outside of partition”.

    In Intel Phone Flash Tool:

    09/11/16 16:47:02.896 INFO : [Port 2/2] Running “C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Phone Flash Tool\fastboot.exe” “-s” “Default0string” “flash” “system” “H:\Teclast\Remix.Os.Teclast_x98plus-2.0-5.1.1-B2016042001-signed\system.img” command

09/11/16 16:48:57.387 ERROR : [Port 2/2] Flash failed (Command type: Fastboot)

I thought nothing changed between plus and plus II, it shouldn’t be difficult to get a RemixOs soon for our Plus II.

The only one difference I see is the UEFI partition. On the installed linux, I have a 250MB UEFI partition while linux live usb or winPE or anything else don’t contain UEFI partition, only the main one.

The stock one is 100Mo, it shouldn’t change anything but I’ll try to install a new linux with an UEFI partition size at 100Mo.

Andy: I thought so too but :
    – Lubuntu created with “LinuxLive USB creator” on windows: Works, I can boot it
    – Lubuntu installed on a USB key in UEFI mode: Doesn’t work, I cannot boot it

    It’s quite weird.

In native mode, I don’t have any touch support on lubuntu. I was about to do it with the installed lubuntu if I could boot it.

    Thx for replying !

I saw the thread but the live linux usb I installed is a 64bits… why I can boot on a live 64bits but not on a fixed one ?!

    Hi guys,

Is it possible to connect another keyboard to the chuwi hi12 or not ? Is the connector is a norm or it’s chuwi’s like ?

    Thanks !

Nowadays, usb cables and usb chargers are very bad … first, you should buy a usb resistor in order to check if the charge can provide 2+A.

After that you need a thick usb cable which performs with 2A.

Buy a good thick micro usb cable and check 😉 one night is enough for me to fully charge the chuwi.

    Hi guys,

I don’t want to install linux but I want to change a liveCD of Linux Mint in order to use with my tablet.

Is the wifi working ? (RTL8723bs), the touchscreen (GT9110P) ?

What need I to change in the liveCD ? Kernel, and the driver of the wifi and that’s all ?

What about the driver of the touchscreen ?

Just tell me if it’s possible or not, I’ll do by myself 😉

    Thank you =)

So many Chuwi hi12 dead cause many people bricked them by trying to change in dualboot or flash them…

We shouldn’t compare these both tablets since they are not AT ALL in the same price range.
