Sorry, no help from me but I’ve a similar problem.
Got my X98 Pro in november and it works fine until some weeks ago. Now the battery won’t get charged until 100%, sometimes even not at all. It doesn’t matter if its booted into Windows or switched of. Sometimes it even looses battery while connected to the original wall plug.
Yesterday for example the tablet had about 70% when I connected it to the wall plug. Windows was booted and it stands there unused for about 8 hours. When I pulled it of in the evening the battery was fully empty…
I don’t think it is the battery itself. When I use the tablet while not charging the battery lasts as long as always. It is probably more a problem with the charging electronics which doesn’t correctly recognizes the charger. Right now Windows shows the plug icon next to the battery icon but says “not charging”.
There was a post here in the forum that says one should let ran the tablet out of battery while in OS selector screen to recalibrate the battery. Have done this with no success.
Anybody else with similar problem or a solution at best?
Thanks,
Jens
January 16, 2016 at 7:50 pm #22584I bought myself this keyboard / case / cover:Â http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AQ3YZQ.
It’s the version for “iPad Air 1” and fits perfectly. Only downside is that the keyboard is labled with Apples layout, so you need to know where things are on a windows keyboard.

November 10, 2015 at 2:17 pm #15502Would like to know that too!
Thanks.
November 10, 2015 at 9:38 am #15478I got this charger from eBay and it works generally:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/271831521428
Problem is that I can’t get enough juice inside the tablet to charge it while using. Under Windows it shows that a charger is connected but it still looses some percent per hour. I’m using the original charger that came with the X98 Pro. Connected to the OTG hub is a second USB hub (externaly powered) with keyboard, mouse, ethernet adapter and USB speakers plugged in.
Anybody else with a similar problem?
Thanks!
November 2, 2015 at 6:59 am #14729@Dennis: You’re absolutely right. After I’ve removed some of the plastic on the plug my external screen is now recognized! Thanks for the suggestion!

You’ll have to go to “Preferences -> Update -> Activation -> “Go to store” -> “I have a Windows 10 Pro product key” and enter your key there. Upgrade runs about 20 minutes then.
