Same for me, I guess the CMOS battery is slowly dying. I replaced the Laptop battery and that helped for now.

Did you change any BIOS settings to get the external monitor over USB C to work?

I tried to connect the Laptop to my Monitor Lenovo Q24h-10 (USB-C to USB -C). The charging works  fine but the display is not recognized, eventhough I can hear the typical Windows Sound for USB Device connected twice. I also tried to change some Bios Settings (Enable Thunderbolt and USB-C) but neither worked.

If you are referring to the tablet mode detection and touchpad deactivation drivers, which are missing in the driver package, they can be found here:

    https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/keyboard-and-touchpad-not-disabled-in-tablet-mode/page/4/ (HingeAngleService and SIPO TP)

Also a Video that can be used for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjydSFSD8lM

All the others drivers are available I think

For those who still have had no success, here another idea:

Get the driver package from Trekstor.de here:
    http://www.trekstor.de/products/2…#Downloads

The Trekstor Primebook C11 is the same laptop. Their driver package has the files I couldn’t find in Direkt-Tek’s driver package.

To disable the touchpad while in Tablet Mode, run “SIPO_TP_Controller_SETUP_V1-0-1-2.exe”, which is found in the driver package folder “SIPO-SP”.

From folder “HingeAngleService”, copy “HingeAngleService.exe” to your Windows\System32 folder.

Open Powershell or Command Prompt as ADMINISTRATOR. Make sure you are in the Windows\system32 folder and type HingeAngleService.exe -install

    PS C:\Windows\system32> HingeAngleService.exe -install

    Hinge angle service V1.0

    Service DACL updated successfully
    Service startup updated successfully.
    Service description updated successfully.
    Service failure actions updated successfully.

AFTER the service is installed, double click “HingeAngleService.reg” to have the needed data added to your Registry.

Restart the machine. If Tablet Mode does not work when you fold the laptop, check your services and make sure “Hinge Angle Detection” Startup type is set to “Automatic”.

Three devices in Device Manager will likely need drivers, they can be updated from the extracted Trekstor driver folder.

EDIT: Simply executing “installDriver.bat” from the Trekstor.de driver package mentioned above will do it all for you, in addition to all the other drivers if you want the full package.

The Trekstore Drivers are not available but the files can be found in this thread. The additional step

Open Powershell or Command Prompt as ADMINISTRATOR. Make sure you are in the Windows\system32 folder and type HingeAngleService.exe -install

was proposed on this site before running the .reg file.

There are some pens that use the same outside components as the T6 and come with replacement nibs (soft and hard):

    Amazon Link 1

    Amazon Link 2

They also used to offer standalone replacement nibs but they are no longer available:

    Amazon Link 3

Maybe it will come back soon or someone knows another source to get them.

I’ll try it. Which build exactly do you mean, special or vanilla?

I used the swtpm file and the official recovery image eve (because there are pixelbooks using the same m3 processor). Also I am booting from rEFIned. I followed this tutorial after creating the image the normal way: https://github.com/imperador/chromefy/blob/master/lab/DualBoot.md

I only had freezes when booting from USB. After installing it ony my SSD as a dual boot via Project Croissant, there were no freezes or other problems like that. I think the USB speed is too slow for the system to run smoothly.

You can try to disable the startup entry of sipo tp controller in msconfig.

Fyde OS 8.0 supports Touchpad and Touchscreen. And is dual bootable and compatible with project croissant. So with this build it is finally suitable for daily use.

Good news: Cloudready v76.4 has working touchpad, including two finger gestures such as scrolling and pinch to zoom. However the touchscreen doesn’t work.

Cloudready 75 uses Kernel 4.19 LTS. I tried it but the Touchpad still doesn’t work.
