Thanks for your reply @janbws, after all I ordered a Transcend MTS400 and 3 days ago I installed WIN10 in my new SSD M.2 and no issues so far.
April 26, 2018 at 8:11 pm #142370@fabcoucou if you have the chance to enter to WIN10, change “Turn Off hD” setting to “never” in power options. I successfully installed WIN10 yesterday and have not had no problems so far. See main post.
April 19, 2018 at 9:12 pm #142117@fabcoucou have you tried installing this driver??? (first you mus install certificate included in .rar)
April 19, 2018 at 6:30 pm #142109Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I have tried to install W10 with ssd and without emmc (in the bios). I have a lot of problems to install W10. Now it’s ok but sometimes after the boot, it’s impossible to have W10. I have to reboot may times the Yepo ! What have you say to Gearbest ? <pre id=”tw-target-text” class=”tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-medium” data-placeholder=”Traduction” data-fulltext=””>I have not yet written them. Thank’s
Hello @fabcoucou . It’s seem this is a recurrent issue on YEPO’s. It would be nice if you upload some pictures showing your computer’s issues. By the way, what brand/model sdd are you using? What kind of issues did you have installing WIN10? Actually, I’m planing install WIN10 on a SDD as you did, so all the information about your issues is valuable.
My original BIOS was unlocked. However, I downloaded a .rom from this post and flashed an EzBook BIOS image (didn’t solve anything). If you decide flash your BIOS do it on your own risk. At the end, I decided go back to my original BIOS (I had made a backup before)
Answering your main question, I opened a ticket in GB website and wrote about all the issues the computer have, then they asked me to send images and videos describing the issues. One day after sent all the evidence, they replied what you can read in the image in the main post. Now I’m still looking forward for the refund.
edit: Refund received
April 16, 2018 at 3:59 pm #142018@chupa Yes I’m gonna take that way and update first post as soon as I get the ssd m2. and bring this issue to end.
April 16, 2018 at 2:12 pm #142012can you boot from a usb image (rufus etc)?
Yes, I can boot from WIN10 installer and GPARTED image.
April 16, 2018 at 12:39 pm #142005Have you tried to open the PC and disconnect the battery for a while? BTW if you want to tag me, my username is thegiolly ?
Hello @thegiolly , yes I’ve tried that. As I said on my last update, I think maybe the problem is in the eMMc, maybe got corrupted. If you have a m2 ssd maybe you can help me whit this:
So guys, if someone who read this have a ssd m2 and can test disabling eMMC support on SSC and boot from SSD would help me a lot.
And of course, if you have another idea I’m open to try it.
April 15, 2018 at 4:44 pm #141994Hello @alex,
Thanks for your comment, I’ll PM you if I work out more ideas.
April 14, 2018 at 7:15 pm #141972If you type exit (followed by enter) in the EFI shell what does it do?
Hello @Giovanni, after type “exit” and hit enter, this happens:
- Screen goes black, but blue power led stays on for 5 minutes.
- Then EFI Shell screen shows again.
I dunno why is the same lag (4-5) AMI BIOS initial screen – UEFI/BIOS sequence.
April 14, 2018 at 4:39 pm #141962Cool! @Giovanni, do you think flashing BIOS with CH341A would fix issue with my YEPO?
April 14, 2018 at 11:05 am #141943the download link is closed….. can i have the drivers? are they the SAME of ezbook 3 pro?
@alex YEPO 737A drivers here and Jumper drivers in download section.April 14, 2018 at 1:40 am #141926Hi, i have a really strange problem with my new Jumper Ezbook 3 Pro v4. I have bought a 256 GB ssd and everything works ok with this storage – i can see it on windows, I can copy files on them, run speed tests etc. The problem started when I wanted install on this drive fresh Windows 10 Pro edition. I have set in BIOS to startup from my formatted pendrive on which was the Windows 10 Pro (I have put the system with two different software: rufus, ultra iso). The system boot from this pendrive, i performed the steps that was shown, finally I go to partition management and create new partition for the new system on this new ssd storage. When press install the windows installer copy files to the partition and then it hangs on checking the files. And this happen every time. I have check it on another pendrives, but still the same. What could it be ??? So I thought that maybe I should try with some Linux system, but here the problem is much bigger. When i boot from the pendrive on which is the linux system (for me it was Ubuntu 17.10, Lubuntu) there is shown just the white cursor. I read that I should change in BIOS the system from Windows to Linux, so I did it. When I have change this option in BIOS,save it and restart, my Jumper didnt display anything, just black screen and blue led light. What was helped me to bring it back to working was to plug Jumper to TV and connect external keyboard (because it has displayed the screen on TV but the built in keyboard does not worked) and have restored the BIOS to the default settings. Now everything shows on Jumper, also the keyboard works. But I still cannot install any operation system. Can anybody help me with this ? Maybe I should downgrade the BIOS ? How can I any operation system on the new ssd ? As I said the ssd works. Every security was disabled in BIOS.
@Adi Did you solve that?
April 13, 2018 at 8:46 pm #141911Hi, I fresh reinstall my YEPO 737A to Win10 in the 128GB Rom but I wasn’t able to boot to the OS instead it always boot to the EFI and causes a “Device mapping table” error. Installing the OS to the 64GB rom also has the same error. will reflashing the bios to jumper fix this issue? or did i do something wrong? I didn’t have the original image drive/drivers from the pre-installed OS since i didn’t expect to encounter such problem like this. Thanks
@janbws I think I’m experiencing the same issue you got, as I explain on this thread. I already flashed UEFI with YEPO 737A and Jumper EZbook 3 Pro .rom’s shared in the main post of this thread but didn’t solve my problem so I returned to my original UEFI (wich I had backed up before), maybe can work for you. However, are you getting this screen after boot to EFI Shell ant hit “map”?
April 13, 2018 at 8:09 pm #141910Thanks for your replies guys, I’ll let you know if I solve this.
April 13, 2018 at 4:24 pm #141905Have you checked the pci/emmc settings in bios? If I’m not wrong you can disable from it and the effect should be what you see in the screen
@Ageatis you mean this screen???
