The Linux stick I used was Puppy Linux and had nothing to do with Macrium PE.
If I want to make one of the Cubes a windows only tablet – will the Windows install stick delete all partitions during the installation process and will it not interfere with the dual boot partition?
And where can I get the original flash file for this Cube iWork 10 Ultimate TCL?
December 18, 2018 at 1:32 pm #149233I tried it already, not being a fool. And being unable to paste a long dedicated reply is not peanuts.
But ok, I will cut it short: Thanks, but that way to restore is quite elaborate and risky without exactly knowing why the linux stick damaged a specific android partition and which precisely. Cannot afford to ruin a working Windows at this time. But thanks again.

December 13, 2018 at 6:50 pm #149120Windows works fine.
I already made a factory reset of android via recovery mode, but android is still not booting. Something had been changed when I booted a linux stick. When I let Macrium choose all Windows partitions to restore, it shows one which is called ANDROID. Is it the dual boot partition and should I restore it too?
June 22, 2017 at 2:31 pm #68401The Cube was attached to the keyboard dock, in which there was an USB Stick and Microsoft Wireless Keyboard Dongle were attached. Could it be the last one that was responsible for draining the battery? Strage though…

August 16, 2016 at 10:11 am #46989@Hans: Thanks for your help. I did as you advised, but the stick did not show up in the bios. I attached it via the OTG cable from Cube on the tablets USB 2.0 port. Did I make any mistake though?
August 4, 2016 at 5:54 pm #45629Did it finally finish the factory reset? How long did it take? And if it did not finish – what did you do next?
July 26, 2016 at 6:20 pm #44609I’m glad this really did the trick. Thanks for your support.
July 22, 2016 at 2:45 pm #44205I got the keyboard today. But it seems to be impossible to push the part with the pin holder backwards so that it is possible to dock the tablet. Is there any locking mechanism which i don’t get? anyone with this issue?
