This is good news, but i have question.
Is it possible to run Live CD only or is it possible to install Android to sd card??
Okay, looks like it`s not possible to install Andoird on a sd card.
It is possible to install Android to HI13`s flash drive and it will boot. Unfortunately it looks like that after 10-20 sec usage OS will freeze. I can still see mouse cursor moving and some icons bouncing on background, but nothing else works.
After Android i installed Lineage OS same way and it`s not freezing

November 2, 2017 at 7:15 am #74286Hi Ana
Android as dual boot is not possible for this tablet. Maybe bluestacks (Android emulator) could be used, but I have not really tested it.
Overall I have been satisfied user. Performance is quite good for light usage and flash storage gives much desired speed.
Obviously tablet is quite heavy and big in tablet mode.
One thing that doesn’t work is after sales. Their communication and repair service (at least in Germany) sucks donkey balls.
I’m sure that you will enjoy your tablet
August 21, 2017 at 6:23 am #70831Okay here update to my situation.
I was forced to sent my unit to Germany with my own cost or otherwise i could not get if fixed.
According to DHL (not the courier) it was successfully received on 11th / am.
About one week ago i asked from CHUWI (no reply) and from service center if they could send my a tracking once unit is repaired and sent back to me. I got answer on Sunday that they have not received it yet.
So now i have sent my tracking code to service center and hopefully they will answer me shortly.
August 7, 2017 at 10:51 am #70232Finally someone answered from Chuwi service. They are willing to repair my unit, but they want me to send unit to Germany and pay freight. I think i will tell them that i refuse to pay freights (with regular mail it will abt 20-30€).
Well they refuse to listen about my refuse, they simply just ignored my refusal. So i had two option, to send it with my own cost or not send and co-exist with broken headphones jack.

How did You contact chuwi? And how long did it take?
Through Facebook I did not work. As long as they though it was software related they were helpful. Now they are just telling that they don’t know which part is broken.
July 17, 2017 at 4:07 pm #69359I have submitted two support tickets to chuwi, so far no answer.
I have been in contact with chuwi through Facebook. They answered all very quick until now. I guess they noticed that it is hardware related and now I’m getting silent treatment.
Does anyone have experience with chuwi support and returning or fixing their devices?
June 7, 2017 at 11:08 am #67887So… I bought this USB quickcharge 2/3/PE (8€) and connected with the Chuwi USB-c cable to a Quick Charge 2.0 AUKEY 3-Port USB Wall Charger (15€) (I already had it at home), pressed twice to change from 5v to 12.2v and… It works!!! The USB adaptor show 1.82A and 12.2V, so it means 22 Watts. I think it is charging a bit slower than the original, but it charges whole I’m using it. Also I noticed the original charger gives a little bit electricity touching the tablet when connected but this one does not. So it seems better than the cheap chuwi’s original one. I’m very pleased because I will not have several chargers when travelling, and AUKEY charger looks safer to me.

Could you please give us the link to where you bought it?
i happened to have aukey pa-t2 charger as well, so i bought this voltage meter/trigger. it gives me 12v and 1.7 A which seems to do the trick and charger my chuwi while using it.
May 9, 2017 at 5:37 am #66694Well it did not recover from overnight sleep. Dont know if there is some policy that will shut down completely or if it in Windows hibarete mode.
May 8, 2017 at 10:35 pm #66679If I wake up the Chuwi Hi13 from energy saving mode or from the deeper hibernation mode it does not return to the last active Windows app but it boots the EFI-Shell version 2.5. Another off/on and it returns to Windows. In BIOS I disabled everything except the Windows boot manager. Why this strange behavior?
Try disable Bluetooth from your device. Obviously if you are using BT accessories this is not convenient to do. But it seems that there is lot less waking up problems if BT is disabled. At least my low energy warnings are gone.
May 7, 2017 at 7:21 am #66630I have same problem. It seems to occur more while tablet is attached to Chuwi keyboard.
At Windows event viewer i have some errors
The local adapter does not support an important Low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode. The minimum required supported state mask is 0x491f7fffff, got 0x1fffffff. Low Energy peripheral role functionality will not be available.
May 2, 2017 at 2:37 am #66357I’m getting about 4-5 hrs. Mainly so far it has been only Web browsing.
This is without keyboard unit as it has not yet come.
I’m little bit dissappointed, but unit doest seem to lose power when sleeping.
