Sadly, the Wacom Bamboo Smart Stylus for select windows 2-1 tablets does not work. I received it today, not sure if I’m supposed to enable anything within the tablet. Instructions are not intuitive, put battery in, placed pen to screen, scribbled around, nothing, loaded one note and bamboo paper app, Still Nothing! Just as dead as the Dell.
I will now buy the stylus being offered by GeekBuying and hope for the best. I’ll report back if somebody doesn’t beat me to it. ๐

But, light on the horizon, Wacom has finally released their stylus for select windows tablets, again, I’m hoping this is the one. I have ordered it, but we’ll see how long it will take them to ship out, I’ll update when I receive it. Bit expensive, but if it works, totally worth it, Hold thumbs ๐
March 8, 2016 at 6:32 pm #28480So, I’m very excited, received my iwork10 today. Charged and now looking around.
I’ve bought a dell pen from amazon, should arrive on Friday, hopefully it will work, we’ll see.
@Chris or anyone else with a dual boot; have you sorted out the google play issue, will it run on your machine?I downloaded it through the HiMarket app, but no joy, it keeps crashing – or rather goes into a loop of app won’t run. I force stopped it. But now what? Help, guidance, advice will be much appreciated. ๐
March 1, 2016 at 4:53 pm #27679So yesterday, I went ahead and placed my order with SoCube on aliexpress. I had been holding out for the stylus to emerge but I need the tablet and can’t wait much longer.
To my surprise, the seller contacted me the this morning asking if I’d mind the tablet being dual boot. After reading the hell all this upgrading has put Chris through, I was more than delighted to accept. That, and the fact I’m mentally challenged when it comes to flashing/ upgrading anything other than a mobile, I was bracing myself, for horrors that would unfold. Small blessings. ย So there you go, if anyone’s interested, the iwork10 at SoCube on ali is dual boot. I paid ยฃ187 total, with keyboard and dhl shipping included.
February 26, 2016 at 7:20 am #27162Thanks Chris, Teclast have been quite sneaky with this one, it’s a little odd in that it has dual boot but the keyboard looks a bit cumbersome and not quite as modern as Cube’s.
I much prefer Cube’s i’10, the keyboard is snazzier and stylus function although elusive, is a pro. Nonetheless, the ever
revolvingevolving tablet door will turn and they’ll release the stylus version, 3 days after the mad rush for the super discounts offered by merchants on the initial version.ย Every time – the same coconut. *sigh* ๐February 17, 2016 at 7:48 pm #26312I’m not convinced the stylus GB & co are selling is the correct pen. No one else is selling this pen, and So Cube on Aliexpress say the pen won’t be in until the end of the month, which makes me think it really is the wacom 2in1 bamboo smart for windows tablets. They’re only being released for sale by wacom at the end of Feb too.
Just have to wait and see, however, if Chuwi release the hi12 stylus and keyboard, it might be a better option if the stylus looks remotely better than the thing GB are selling.
January 30, 2016 at 4:12 pm #24400Well, GearBest have just released pen for iwork10ย Original Cube iWork 10 Flagship CEP02 Stylus Pen
Luka, use your mobile(android) to download the file from baidu, then transfer to tabet.
January 26, 2016 at 12:50 pm #23827The listing description states screen protector, he doesn’t actually have the stylus, nor does he know which stylus the iwork10 takes.
Wacom is due to release a new pen (bamboo smart) similar to the n-trig pen technology, but only being released in Feb. I wonder if they are all waiting for this http://www.winbeta.org/news/ces-2016-wacom-introduces-surface-pen-like-stylus-supported-windows-10-devices
Sadly, those that have released reviews seem to be more concerned about the keyboard, and fail to mention anything with regard to the stylus. I’m about to pull the trigger on this, anyone had experience with So Cube on Aliexpress?
January 12, 2016 at 8:18 am #22002Hi Chris, thank you for providing such a fantastic platform and resource!
You state “The iwork11 isnโt bad, but be aware that the first batch (Like the Hi10) Came with a 32bit OS and only 2.9GB of usable ram of the 4GB”
So are the iwork11’s being sent out with 64bit OS now? I’ve been scouring the net looking for bios updates etc. in forums everywhere, and no-one seems to be providing any kind of confirmation these tablets have had their bios fixed and that they are being sent out with 64bit OS.
I’m a student too, need a tablet with stylus that can handle photoshop/ maybe a little illustrator and ms360. I’ve been hanging my nose over the X2 and the i7 but I just can’t afford to shell out that kind of money right now, I’ve been waiting to read what people have to say about the new Chuwi ebook and cube iwork10 flagship/ultimate with stylus but there seems to be no real news anywhere regarding all 3 of these.
Can you please help/ advise? Thanks
