I bought the CHUWI Hi10 from Aliexpress store VC MALL (VC Lemon). i regret to this day.

No warranty.they wanted it returned to uknown adress, i even asked for a new motherboard and had to pay, one month ago. they cant ship parts for this tablet. almost 100 messages between me and the store trying to find solutions.

i payed 120USD for a new motherboard and it has not been sent after one month, only excuses and lies from this store….i am really….really angry.

That was my story….i have over 500 orders on Aliexpress in different stores. I will NEVER buy anything from store VC MALL again.

Hello, i have tried the following things to fix the random shutdown problem of my tablet.

    Reflashed V300 BIOS

    Reinstalled Win image from CHUWI

    Did Clean install of WIN10/64

    Tried different drivers

    Nothing will fix the issue.

So now i have decided to change the V300 motherboard.

power issues, i have the same thing, it is better now after 10-15 cycles. in the start i had the same symptoms including randomly powering off. Since there are alot of people that dont have this issues i think the batteries are to blame on some tablets only.

see if you get this sort of problems with and without the charger connected as well. try another charger with atleast 2 amps.

Hello Marco, i have not yet any answer from Chuwi factory, but as you and others have experienced it is the power consumption/load that triggers the shutdown.

i will post here if i get any answer/solutions for this problem, if there is no solution for this within reasonable time i am returning the tablet to VC.

yeah, i would love to know that as well.

i would guess chrome, firefox etc dont use hw acceleration in some circumstances or it may be the fact that the browser forces use of html5.

for chrome try h264ify extension, could help

    Mine has power issues.

demanding software makes it shut down randomly.

works OK when charger is attached.

I have contacted both Chuwi and VC Mall about the issue, awaiting response.

Here is a link demonstrating the issue, it will happen 100percent of the time i try 4K…. so it seems it is a GPU or power failure issue going on.

    test with only battery

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/asaaf9qbm34vr5x/4k-100percentbacklight.mp4?dl=0

and seems like it plays alittle longer with the backlight down

    test with only battery

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/bpahxrujj5xd0km/4K-0-25percentbacklight.mp4?dl=0

Tested with powercord while charging ( Everything works fine )

So it seems to me it has a very bad power supply design.

I can also confirm this issue with my Hi10,seems like it happens when i stress the GPU.

Try playing 4K, it shuts down

some 3d games makes it shut down.

sometimes randomly, but every time i try 4K

very hard to reboot, like stated above i also need to plug in the charger to revive it.

Mine was bought on ALI, VC MALL, it is the 64Bit 4GB confirmed version.

I also updated all the drivers with driver booster, no changes.

i have sent an email to service department at Chuwi, i will post their response here.
