I have found the touch response to be quite poor actually with the glass screen protector.

Order one of these.  You will be happy.  Vey easy to apply and impossible to get bubbles because it is glass.  Make sure the screen is perfectly clean with the supplied alcohol wipe and tacky sticker supplied, lower the glass protector on slowly whilst holding by edges making sure at no time you touch the sticky side at all with your fingers and you will have a perfectly flat, bubble free, scratch protected screen.

My keyboard the same, Just not right.  I am more pissed off about the bulging at the back of the keyboard hinge and the 2 stripped screws in the base.  Chuwi do not care one bit about QA. They do not even reply to emails.

The tempered glass via aliexpress:http://www.aliexpress.com/item/12Inch-9HGlass-Screen-Protectors-For-CHUWI-HI12-Tablet-PC-Tempered-Glass-Screen-Protector-Glass-film-H/32647159621.html  fits beautifully and feels very slick.  It was very easy to apply by holding the edges and lowering it upon the tablet carefully.  It almost completely attaches itself, Make sure you do not touch the sticky side at all, only hold by the edges and you will be very happy.  Also make sure to remove the factory applied screen protector first!  The HI12 case that is designed specifically for the tablet fits well and feels good.  You can still use the keyboard with the case attached no problem, and can close the tablet with keyboard attached by folding the case front cover backwards.  http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-PU-leather-case-For-Hi12-12-Tablet-PC-high-quality-Leather-Stand-Flip-Protective-Cover/32657066785.html

I ordered tempered glass screen protector for chuwi hi12 from aliexpress. It is .15 mm 9H hardness: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/12Inch-9HGlass-Screen-Protectors-For-CHUWI-HI12-Tablet-PC-Tempered-Glass-Screen-Protector-Glass-film-H/32647159621.html

I will update when it arrives in a couple of days. The ad does state optimised for touch and at .15mm it it almost half the thickness of the one mentioned.

Anyone with a recommendation for accurate battery info? I have dual boot and on windows 10 tried batteryinfo which indicated design capacity of 4984 milliamp hrs, full charge capacity 9689, battery at 98%.  On android both Aida64 and another app show battery as being reported as 6500 milliamp total.  Any ideas?

The only way to know an item is actually available is to go to live chat and quote the link.  I have had too many long waits for products that are hot sale, backorder, supplier has let us down etc.  Gearbest will not contact you if item is unavailable, they will wait for you to complain.  The shipping estimates are not accurate.

I ordered my Hi12 win10 version 18 march. On 14 april I submitted a ticket for unsent item and was told item was hot sale/backorder etc (typical gearbest!) I then went to live chat and rep informed me dual boot was in stock.  Sent by DHL and arrived in Perth Western Australia Monday morning 18 April.

Investigated further with my glasses on, pulled the front plastic film off and discovered you are right!  Because of the screen protector it appeared and felt like there was a hole.  Feeling rather foolish now.  Off to the optometrist!

I have been trying to get date the keyboard will ship from Gearbest.  I ordered March 18 and have been waiting patiently.  One rep tried to fob me off by saying they are no longer available? Then changed their story to backorder.  Latest from Gearbest is 10 days. Anyone else got the same story?
