I think people were similarly miffed about USB-C charging with the X5 Pro and F6. From the little I could gather, it seems like it needs to be a PD (power delivery) rated charger. If anyone has better info, please share.

And one final note: the T303 glass screen protector I bought didn’t quite fit. The front-facing speaker cutouts were misaligned. Close, but no cigar. A waste of $10, but at least it was only ten bucks.

forum not allowing me to post properly. i have to create one-word posts then go back and edit them.

I wish there was a PDF manual or something with the technical specifications, but there is virtually no detailed information included.

I don’t use mine outdoor, so I can’t honestly comment on the brightness to that level. If I do try it out though, I’ll report back here.

The microSD I use is my 128 GB SanDisk Ultra I took out of my Cube i7. Nothing special.

testing… I keep getting errors when trying to post. is there a word limit or something??

Yeah, Chinese online marketplaces are strange and aggravating. In total, I only waited a little more than 2 months. But 2 months for a $500+ ticket item is still ridiculous!! I bought from the Teclast Global Store, their direct store on AliExpress.

As for the AAAA batteries, the rechargeable ones I ordered from AliExpress were too thick for the stylus. So I ordered better quality rechargeable ones off Amazon. They work perfectly straight out of the box. The AAAA I pulled out of my 9V batteries work as well, but at first, I couldn’t get them to work, because yeah, the poles are reversed. So you have to put them in the stylus upside down. Since the flat end is the positive end, I needed to leave a piece of the daisy-linked metal conductor attached so that it made contact with the stylus’s contact. Sounds more complicated than it is. But both alternatives work fine.

Now it’s just the stylus itself. I’m not sure what to do, but as it is, it’s basically unuseable, which defeats a big part of the purpose of getting this tablet. I’m not sure how to address this with the Teclast Global Store just yet.

I’m having the same experience with the stylus. I just got mine on March 18. I hope this is fixable.

strange… I can post from my work computer, but not my home computer.

My tablet arrived 2 days ago. Stylus too. The keyboard should arrive within the next couple days. The AAAA from 9V battery work, but the stylus is choppy as others have reported. I really hope that gets fixed via driver, as everything else about the tablet is good so far on first impression. The screen is bright and vibrant. The speakers are good. The ports are plentiful. My 128GB microSD is fully recognized. The only thing I haven’t been able to figure out yet is the USB-C charger. Anyone know which charger will work?

End of November?!!? Man, I was livid after waiting more than a month, and I ordered mine in January.

I ended up purchasing from a different buyer on AliExpress in mid-February. They delayed a few times too, but at least he seemed to be straight up with me: basically they said there was a problem on the manufacturer’s end. He explained that they had to re-check the tablets because there were “material problems” (some users were complaining that the build was flimsy, broken kickstands, etc.), but that they would start shipping out again in March. Mine shipped out earlier this week, but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that it’s not a fake tracking number (happened with a related order from a different seller). If all goes according to plan, well plan B, then I should receive it some time within the next week.

I don’t know that I recommend the seller I bought from (remains to be seen), but if you ordered from Geekbuying (not sure if your GB was them or Gearbest), I say cancel. They kept giving a run around. I can understand delays, but I won’t stand for lies or misleading information.

Still waiting on this tablet to arrive. In the meantime, I’m trying to find a glass screen protector for it. Is this the same screen as the ASUS T303UA? I only recently noticed that the screen on the X6 Pro has space cut out for the speakers and same specs as the 12.6″ T303UA.

(Also, any chance this gets its own subforum or moved to the Core M Tablets subforum instead of General?)

Can you confirm whether there is an issue with the SD card slot reading cards larger than 32gb that Alex @marlowe70 mentioned?

This tablet is beginning to sound like vaporware. I just got an e-mail saying that they won’t get a shipment until mid-February, after just telling me yesterday that they would have some next week. @Chris G, has yours arrived yet? I’m trying to decide whether to get a refund and buy from somewhere else or just wait.

I almost bought from Aliexpress, but decided to go with a different store that was selling the tablet and keyboard together. I really feel like I’m taking a gamble here as still hardly anyone has this tablet yet and there are no hands-on reviews. Any progress with your new tablet? I hope you can work out the issues with the sd card and stylus. Let us know how it turns out.

I ordered from geekbuying and was told that they will receive a new shipment at their warehouse next week, so it should ship out sometime then.

I’m curious too about where the OP ordered his from.

first, thanks for posting this. i’m glad to hear that it actually does have a card reader. is it behind the stand? i ordered one a few days ago, but it hasn’t been shipped yet. did yours take a long time to ship/arrive?

for your issues, did you format the card to fat32? i’ve read that fat32 is limited to 32gb partitions on windows machines. so you might try formatting it to ntfs. if it still doesn’t work, then make sure the card isn’t faulty by trying it in another device. as for the pen, is it the original teclast active stylus pen for the F6 Pro notebook. i don’t think just any active stylus will work; it probably needs to be the official teclast pen.

Read my post here if you want to get an idea of the flow of Chinese shipping. It’s an irritating wait, but at least you can get an idea of the timeline it might take.

Thanks for the heads up! I installed Nox and instantly fell in love with it. I uninstalled Andy (I uninstalled AmiDUOS and BlueStacks long ago). Nox runs really well on my i7 Stylus. There’ve been a few hiccups and slowdowns, but so far, it still seems miles ahead of the other offerings out there. Not to mention, I’ve only used it on Low performance settings (there is a Low, Medium, and High setting that I think controls performance).

For one, getting root access on Nox is as easy as flipping a switch. I couldn’t understand why on a freaking Android emulator for PCs there was no straightforward or built in root access

BlueStacks seemed okay at first, but forcing me to install apps I don’t want is rubbish. AmiDUOS annoyed me and I can’t remember why. I wasn’t above paying for it, but it wasn’t worth paying for in my opinion. Andy was a nice free option, but every time it was updated, it completely wiped out all my apps and settings. Also, since I don’t use Facebook, giving feedback or contacting the developers was impossible. So far, I’m really happy with the ease of use and setup and really clean design of Nox.

Thanks again for bringing it to my attention.
