I have a Bmax Y11 and can confirm that’s the same laptop as the Teclast F5 (NOT the F5R), only differences are the grey/white keyboard (that is difficult to read under some light conditions) and the SSD, which is 256 GB.
The battery is not so good, it’s only 7.000mah and can last about 4-5 hours, like Chris said.
No full size ports, I use a USB-C hub linked to the power supply, or it is possible to use the bundled micro-usb to full-usb adaptor.
As said before, the Y11 does NOT have backlight keyboard.
October 3, 2017 at 6:02 pm #72962Same here, panel slightly misaligned in the same way. V4 with Samsung eMMC.
This is not a big problem, but if someone knows how to fix this it would be great!
October 3, 2017 at 1:46 pm #72951I attach a photo of my V4 charger. Please reply if you have a different charger, especially if you are a V1 or V2 user.

Sorry but “that” led light is for the charging indicator. 😀
As with any lithium ion battery, it’s not good to leave it plugged into the charger for an extended period of time. Just charge it for three hours and unplug it. I don’t usually charge it overnight. I don’t want to wake up to a battery fire
Ok, but for office use? If I use the notebook only on battery and charge it when battery is empty, the battery life would be dramatically shortened by the frequent power-cycles!
I think it’s more than normal to use the notebook on charger even at 100% battery level.Actually users from 4PDA (russian forum about gadgets) say that it’s faulty charger.
On the version 2 of the 3 pro it went green, but in version 3 and 4 seems to stay orange.
I’ve seen at least one user claiming, that he got laptop to charge fully (LED color change and status in windows that battery is fully charged) by using charger from his friend’s ezbook 3 pro that charges properly.
I just bought this charger:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B072L3W1PK
Mainly to have a longer cord and to have an EU connector (I hate power adapters, they are so big and unstable).
Know what? Charger is perfectly working, but after 3 hours at 100% battery level it continues to show orange led light anche battery in charge under Windows.
I think this behaviour can be due to the BIOS or mainboard hardware revision. I’m ok with that, hoping that battery life will not suffer too much when using the notebook in charge at 100%.Little question to V1 and V2 users: can you post a photo of your charger? Maybe yours is different from what V3 and V4 users get in the package.
September 29, 2017 at 9:42 am #72802Thank you very much, mushi!
The first two holes seemed to me like led lights… but they are for the mic… interesting!! 😀
Do you also know what is the hole on the top-right of the notebook, just near the power connector?September 29, 2017 at 9:38 am #72800September 29, 2017 at 9:35 am #72798Here are the values I obtain with HS400 setting in the BIOS.
I repeat, the pc is absolutely stable and I have no problems at all.Attachments:

I’ve tried reading the problematic VP9 video files using the latest Libreelec (a mini live Linux distribution containing Kodi working out-of-the-box) for pc and… know-what? They work great with hardware decoding acceleration under Linux!!
Maybe there are still some problems with Windows and some drivers… I’ll retry formatting the eMMC and installing a clean Windows 10.September 28, 2017 at 9:53 pm #72784Gearbest, bought 6 september, sent 14 september, arrived 25 september.
I don’t know if they are all coming with Samsung eMMC, but I’ve read on another thread that others are receiving the same eMMC these days, so maybe this batch contains Samsung ones.
I confirm that HS400 mode is working very well on my v4 with Samsung eMMC. I obtain about 200MB/sec on sequential read and 150MB/sec on sequential write with Crystal Disk Mark, without any problems. Super-satisfied! 🙂September 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm #72767Super stable here with a new V4 revision EZbook 3 Pro using Samsung E-MMC.
Never had a blue screen since setting HS400 in the BIOS and speed almost doubled. Thanks!!
I think that this trick is not related to the revision of the notebook, but is related to the E-MMC mounted inside!!Regards
Carlo.September 28, 2017 at 2:47 pm #72766Mine (V4 revision just arrived) also have Samsung E-MMC inside and is surprisingly fast, it also does not give me problems/blue screens if I use the BIOS trick to set it in HS400 faster mode, while I’ve read that the first batch of the V4 had some other E-MMC that work correctly only in standard mode.
