A replied to the topic Getting the best performance out of the Lapbook SE in the forum Chuwi LapBook Series 6 years, 11 months ago
I recently bought a Lapbook SE and I am trying to improve the gaming performance. I did the heatsink mod and it brought down the max. temperature from 87C to 70C (at the stock 6w TDP). I’ve tried to increase the TDP for more performance, but it seems whatever I do the GPU won’t reach high clocks, it only goes up to 400-450mhz, so I think I must be…[Read more]

Hi Justin. Thanks for reply.
I just wrote them from Aliexpress account. Unfortunately, I didn’t found link on their site for warranty. So I don’t know how to claim my warranty.
Could you tell please, how did you asked for warranty? And where did you get the new screen? Was it hard to connect new screen?

Right, so it starts! But it is not the glue, but the screws that get loose. But you cannot get to them. Can you still make use of your warranty?

HI,
I have the same problem. Namely, after a 5 months of use my hinges start to break. Manufacturer declare 30 000 Times shaft turn (https://www.chuwi.com/product/items/Chuwi-LapBook-Air.html).
On images you can see that one shaft is good while another (right side) is exposing metal part that supposed to be extremely good glued.

I own the N4100 processor model and I don’t know if you can still get it as the last time I saw it they were selling it with a N4000 processor. Regarding the performance I use it mostly to browse the internet, youtube, maybe a little netflix and reading books in the Kindle application. I recommend using Edge browser as memory usage and processor…[Read more]

Unless you live in Vegas or another global gaming mecca, your choice of casins will be fairly limited. In fact, most cities and some states have no casins at all. Unless you are willing to travel, you might have to settle for playing bingo or the lottery. Fortunately, you no longer have to take it or leave it thanks to the invention of online gaming.

crixster replied to the topic Tips on how to use Stylus (pen) in the forum Teclast F6 Pro 6 years, 12 months ago
albertopodrico, active stylus are a hit and miss. Check if you have the correct driver installed or consider a capacitive stylus. Don’t expect pressure sensitivity with those and you’ll prolly need an artist glove if you want to rest your hand on the screen

Tim replied to the topic Mi Notebook Pro? How does it hold up? in the forum Mi Notebook Air series 6 years, 12 months ago
I bought mine back in April last year – i7 16GB RAM MX150 – and it’s holding up very well.
The only issue I had was with the battery not always charging when plugged in (it seemed to randomly charge for a few minutes then not charge), which I fixed by simply taking out the battery and then putting it back in again – I imagine something had become…[Read more]

Yes, it is compatible and it works very well. Of course, it is not NMVe, but I think it is one of the best SSDs for this notebook.
It was not necessary to reinstall anything, I just used USB adapter and dd-ed whole disk contents to a new disk 🙂

I’m trying to help a friend who is having trouble upgrading M.2 SSD in his i35. He bought the WD Blue M.2 SATA SSD but it’s not being recognized. Basically all he did was create a Windows USB install/boot drive and replaced his existing SSD with the WD SSD. Is there some setting in the BIOS that needs to be changed?
