Bad EZBook pro batteries – How to replace step by step

it can make 8 hours with no problem

with brightness turned down to 5% and battery save mode and power saver profile and just typing some things.

but if you use it full power and full brightness, watching youtube in hd than you get 3 to 4 hours

if you use it in overdrive mode with 15 watt than you are below 3 hours

4 to 5 hours with moderate use and brightness  is possible

I have replaced the battery on my EZBook Pro3 with the 3.8v batteries from Aliexpress last week. Been using daily, have cycled the battery three full charges so far, everything working great 6-8 hours per charge. Would highly recommend this battery swap to anyone that is up for the soldering  job.  Thank you for all the battery information.

if you remeber i had problem with ezbook 3 pro battery, sent it to gearbest for repair, but they sent me other ezbook which did not charge at all. after paypal claim they refund me 130 usd and i’ve kept ezbook. i’ve took it to local computer store and they fix it by replacing some broken parts in charge unit. it cost me 70 usd. battery works good atm, but it will probably die in 3m like before so i’ve already ordered new batteries from ali.

Thanks, euplio. After reading your post, I have replaced the batteries (ordered from aliexpress) and my ezbook can keep alive for 6.5 hours at 40% brightness after a few full charge cycles.

After my unseccesful battery change still can not reach more than 1.5 hour, I believe this is due to the battery quality or maybe because of the additional board ont he battery maybe later one i will try without those boards.

Today i found new batteries which is a bit longer for the place where each is 12.5cm but it seems that it will fit without the battery panel.

Those batteries are 7200 mah. I will inform you the result after replacement.
previous ones were 5000 mah but it was 10×8 cm.

Don’t look for declared Mah, 99% is fake. Look for weight and cell quality (best are from Japan).

@Sushi that’s the exact same battery i bought and installed in my 3 pro.

let it charge overnight and fully discharge a couple of time and it’s night and day with original battery.

I have placed 7200 x 2 batteries and charged once it is discharging now. For instance i have set the screen at 100% and it is running a movie at the back battery bar says 3.08 full runtime and discharge rate is 7.402.

Will discharge and recharge several times and will inform you the result

Hi there, I`m wondering which replacement battery is better in overall after some time of usage?

Should it be a 4 – cell (2×2 – cell) or 2 – cell (2×1 – cell) and voltage 3,7V or 3,85V rated?
