Same problem here with my Ezbook. Connected to AVR with HDMI cable. Video works great but no sound via the AVR.

Any suggestions?

I was able to boot the system and have a bootup screen. I could go to the EFI shell and do the bios flash from the command line as described by one of the posts on this forum.

If you don’t have a EFI shell, then you need to program the bios via an USB EEPROM programmer and a clip. The old fashioned way.

Still using the crucial and have the Kingspec 512M broken and shipped back for replacement. They gave me Z3 Kingspec 512 GB in return. I use this low budget SSD in my car for music/video. That is perfect, don’t install this stuff in computer anymore, I stick to the branded stuff, like Crucial/Samsung/Intel etc.

Yeah all looked at, but fixed it eventually by again writing the same BIOS file to the EEPROM. Now it works like a charm again. So this item can be closed and marked as “Solved”.

Did someone find a proper solution for this issue? I have the same experience now with my Jumper. SOmetimes press/holding the power button works. But then next day it fails again.

Disconnect the battery has same result as the power button holding. It did not structurally fix it.

Yes by following the maual described in the BIOS sticky post. The stock bios does not support to change it. However, after modding the bios it was already at HS400 setting, so no increase for me.

I pulled the KingSpec from the EZB and installed the Crucial MX300. Perfect speed.

Installed the KingSpec into my other PC and there I get good results.

Well not that long actually. Only for a couple of days. After how much time is your ezb suffering from this phenomen?

All partitions deleted from the emmc indeed.

So far no problem with my v6 unlocked bios. Have a Crucial MX300 275 GB hooked up and so far no failures at boot. Have the emmc as data disk.

There you can find the drivers. You need to first install the CA certificate. The only way I get the 512 MB/s sequential reading is using the original MS AHCI driver, but with 60MB/s writing speed. The system also reponds sloppy. Therefor I installed the Intel RST version from the above link and write speed goes up, but read cut in half. But with this driver the system reponds better.

Well, the thing is that when I use the MS AHCI driver the read speed goes up to 520 MB/s. Really impressive for cheap SSD. However the write speeds goes down to dramatic 60 MB/s. Using the modded RST driver I get the 285/250 speeds. So this looks to me a software issue. I’ve seen people running the 256 GB on faster speeds.

I have a KingSpec NT512 installed. NO issues, excep the write speed is poor. Only 68 Mb/sec (Sequential). the Read performance is OK 512 MB/sec.

Any clues? Unlocked V6 bios.

Did the install of fresh Win10 Iso and the license is indeed activated. Perfect. Thanks for all the help.

Soon my KingSpec 512GB SSD will be arriving. Then move the OS from emmc to SSD. Hope this SSD is compatible and stays that way.
