September 4, 2016 at 9:19 am #48767Would it be correct that the device comes with a plastic screen protector pre-installed? I know it sounds like an obvious question, but I assume I need to remove this before I install the glass protector? Cheers
Yes there´s a very thin plastic screen protector pre applied. You have to remove it.
September 1, 2016 at 7:57 pm #48582Cool thanks, and does it work on type C tablets?
I think so ^^ Just backup through TWRP and if it doesn´t work, just restore the backup … and leave a message for the other Type C users here 😀

Flubski – thank, but i afraid this way not give a result. Right now i don’t have a worked solution, just leave the old SU.
I wouldn´t say it if it hadnt´t worked for me. All I can say is that letting the normal SuperSU won´t give you root access!!
August 29, 2016 at 9:40 pm #48418The Zip works perfectly, but you have to manually repeat the rooting process to get SuperSU to work.
Rooting:
- flash a modified boot image (see appropriate section)
- download and unzip the iwork10root stuff
- open an elevated command prompt (administrator)
- navigate to the unzipped folder of the root stuff
- turn on the tablet and boot to android
- make sure USB debug is ENABLED, if not, enable it (google how, its really easy)
- connect the micro usb 2.0 port to your pc
- type “root.bat” in your command prompt
- wait for it to hang on adb shell su –daemon
- disconnect tablet, reboot it
- supersu will want to update su binary, let it do so. it will fail, close it then.
- reconnect the tablet, type “root.bat” again
- should be rooted successfully.

Bullshit app, will only make the sound of your tablet even worse and possibly brake the speakers …
June 14, 2016 at 6:03 pm #40980I´ve got the i15-TL version also. I rooted my android, since then everything works like a charm. I´m getting an sd card error like once a week.
But this error can be solved by simply replugging it. I´m using a Samsung Ultra 64GB microSDXC (the gray one).June 4, 2016 at 10:33 am #39823Will GApps be preinstalled? If not, can I flash it after flashing the miui.zip?
May 31, 2016 at 12:19 pm #39326Try to do the same process again and leave out “format fs=ntfs”.
Just write “create partition primary” after you successfully cleaned the sdcard.May 30, 2016 at 4:13 pm #39155Hi to all,
i’m new and not a geek. pls help!
i’ve used my new cube iwork10 dual OS (bought from gearbest) without any problem for 2 months until yesterday.
I used 64 GB MicroSD SDXC (under fabric settings, i.e. without any formatting done before use) with videos and mp3s with VLC and others Apps: not any problem.
During the use of All connect to stream music to my Yamaha hi-fi it stopped working. I realized that the microSD is not working any more or better to say it is not read by the cube tablet. To summerize the situation:
- Windows10: it doesn’t read it. but if you insert or pull it you hear the typical windows sound, but it is not recognized under file explorer;
- Android: it doesn’t read it. if you insert it you see the message “preparing SD card – searching errors” and then “SD empty or filesystem not supported”. If you try to format it android crashes…
- On PC: the SDcard works perfectly: read/write/format
- I reformatted the SDcard FAT32 – exFAT – NFTS but always same problems like point 1-2-3
It doesn’t seems an hardware problem (the sound under windows and the message under android..) but i’m not sure
It seems to be that the tablet cannot read the SDcard so it should be software problem: SD card reader driver???
Can something be done for the SDcard?
Does a Android factory reset or hard reset could solve it?
Do I have to reinstall everything (win + android) on the tablet?
sorry but pls help cause i really do not know what to do….
many thanks
Rinaldo
Put the sdcard in your main computer and press windows button + “R” without quotes.
Write “diskpart” and hit enter.
Write “list disk” and find your sd card.
Write “select disk x” with x replaced by the number of your sdcard.
Write “clean”.
Write “format fs=ntfs”
Write “create partition primary”
Write “exit”.
Done, everything should work again.May 21, 2016 at 10:33 am #38106Normally you should get the i15-TL version which alreadycomes with Windows 10 Pro. Otherwise you can of course use your Pro license to upgrade.
