from my experience, buying from aliexpress : You will receive full refund but after 1 or 2 months. This things takes time. Ask customs officer for proof that they send package back, and open a dispute on aliexpress
I my case I ordered on 16.03 and first sign on PostNL was on 08.04 (pre advised) and next step was on 21.04 when the item arrived in NL.In 22.04 package arrived in my country (Romania) After that, on 27.04 i picked up the package from post office.
My package arrived on 27.04 in good condition and i didn’t pay taxes (with postNL). I ordered on 16.03 . The big problem was how gearbest has handled the situation. At some point i thought that this is a scam and i lost my money. Strange way to do online bussiness!
@ serge: most things you say are true, except implication of techtablets in expeditions mess. Sadly, I received same lies from gearbest support team. It is clearly that their answers are the same for everyone, it is pre-formed answers and sometime has nothing to do with our questions.
After another week, my status didn’t change. Still “pre-advised”. Exactly one month ago I ordered my tablet. It seems that I have to wait one more month to receive it. Maybe if they send a little chinese guy on foot with my package will arrive more quickly. :))
I have news about my package. Tracking it says “Pre advised” which means that in the next days the package will be picked up from seller ?! Exactly one week ago , gearbest told me that the package left from China. So who is lying?
I also ordered this tablet on 15 march and on 1st april they send me the pic of package. After 5 days my tracking number is useless; if i try to track the answer is ” not found”. I open a ticket ad the answer is : stay tuned someday will appear. I will never buy from gearbest again.
