tablet is a piece of junk.

my keyboard messes up the tablet when connected , everything starts opening for no reason. the battery life is terrible also, maybe just over an hour on a charge. sometimes my device won’t turn on .

just an overall bd experience with this device , I couldn’t recommend it.

OK so finally after months got it working.

    Stupid mistake.

I didn’t put the android files in the root of the USB, I copied the entire folder to the USB.

Finally have the dual boot back.

    Thanks

when i get to the boot from power shell part. it gives me the option to :

press ESC in 1 second to skip startup nsh any other key to skip

    basically from there nothing happens.

am i supposed to type in a command or something ?

no, cant get it to work, just sits on the boot logo.

following the sketchy instructions which don’t add up don’t work.

Downloading the new windows now. After updating the bios, android is stuck on boot up logo. Have to try fix that now, think the notes say I have to flash android  in the windows bios.

thanks for the google drive link only took 5   mins to download.

    according the translated doc.

it says run the flash65 batch in the bios folder, which i did.

it says don’t touch android unless its giving problems so wont touch it then.

since i received the tablet few months ago i only received one OTA android update and that was on first boot.

what does this firmware fix anyway?

noticed it myself with the keyboard connected and it not going to sleep.

found the tablet hot when i went back to it which suggested the screen remained on and drained the battery.

only had one update from the android end of it since i got the tablet.

like yourself the sound is weak , not ideal with background noise. apart from that i use a cheap Bluetooth speaker when at home, which will only further drain the battery.

i found from the android end , if i disconnect the keyboard while the machine is on the volume rocker sometimes doesn’t work and i have to go to settings to control the volume. the tablet seems to not recognize the keyboard disconnected or something. not a major deal really.

i found the stock file manager recognizes that the SD card is there, but you can’t browse or select it.

also in Android if you disconnect the keyboard you cant use the volume rocker to raise or lower the volume.

using a sandisk extreme 64gb no problem.

happy so far with the tablet myself.

i found the USB port quiet tight, had a USB mouse transmitter bit get stuck in it as i tried to take it out. the silver case of the transmitter got stuck as i tried removing it. was a nightmare trying to get it out.

i personally find the sound very thin and useless for say a movie.
i have the original Mipad which has much more dept to the sound so i compare it to that.

coming from windows running on an SSD to emmc its extremely slow. quite frustrating at times with a minute wait for some programs to open.

multi tasking isn’t an option on the windows end.

the Android OS is a lot more fluent and responsive.

still shouldn’t  drain to zero in idle within 8 hours. (this was on the android OS)

i’ll try idle on Windows tonight see is it the same.

the Android OS received an official OTA update which is great to see.

only problem i have with it is that the battery drains fast when in idle . over night it was basically zero from 100%

    clearly some issue here.

few apps and games I found that worked on other emulators forced closed on this.

    Overall these emulators fall short.
