Hi i got this one too… fast charger …like 1% per minute …. but it blew up …. so am back to the stock slow charger … it tried rock sugar charger PD 3.0 type c but it doenst even charge i feel cheated by jumia after the import… im waiting for them to return it

i just got the apple charger …29 watts working quite well just like the stock charger….now am following up on the HDMI …i guess its a specific specs needed for intek core M3

Considering the fact, that I have yet to see USB-C hub with better HDMI output then 1.4, I really doubt there are source devices supporting DP 1.4 together with USB 3.1 (even though it is theoretically possible). All of those hubs I have seen seems to use DP 1.2 which they convert to HDMI 1.4 => 4k 30Hz So I would say, that hubs are out of the game and then what remains is to find good USB-C to HDMI adapter, which has HDMI 2.0 output. Such adapter can completely ignore USB bus and use four DP lanes over USB-C cable, so it can theoretically output 4k 60Hz even with HDR. I am also new owner of CM+, and my USB-C accessories are on the way, so I have no experience what-so-ever. I just read a lot before I ordered, as it seems like USB-C is complete mess so far. There are so many poorly manufactured devices and so many specifications, that it is extremely easy to buy wrong devices even when you educate yourself first. For ordinary user, it is really nightmare these days…

 

I have been in this mess for the longest but ive learnt to live with it …first over heating issue …i solve via software mods not hardware coz i feared screwing the gadget …. secondly now the charging system now am happy that it can charge over usb type C using apple 29 watts charger … now am looking at projection … kindly update us on your findings .. ive imported enough accessories form ebay from type C to hdmi but none of them seems to be working … kindly let m know what works…. thanks

so in a nut shell whats the update for ….. windows OS or bios .. ive been having issues with the bios … i just cant seem to connect my computer to a projector …also if i use the wifi connectivity it doent run smoothly … the projections on the second screen drags and lags behind … will the update solve my issues ??

if ur doing simple tasks and don’t need excessive power …. go to setting power options and processor ….there reduce the percentage from 100 to a lower figure like 90 or 80 to meet your power demand… i realized this last year and i has since worked for me … my temps are currently as low as 30-40 degC… give it a shot … but if ur an intensive user keep trying out the thermal mods

Hi guys i spoilt my charger two months ago and had to do with one that charges a power bank …. i finally got the apple charger 29 watts … chargers perfectly well in about 1 hrs 30 minutes .. just like the stock charger ….thats damn perfect …. got it for about 45 usd here in Kenya …. thanks guys for your recomendation …. am now looking for a way of projecting my screen content to a projector

I just did this and it works ….☺☺☺? happy with my cube …its been a long 8 months of frustrations …am now feeling like I have a new laptop …next thing now is buying the cable for charging any suggestions from eBay through China (we can only import stuff from China here in Kenya )

I think am alon in the moon …. Are you guys saying that u can actually charge mix plus via USB type C port? Mine does nothing… Or did I miss something in the bios settings(which I’ve never touched)…. Waiting to hear from you guys

I managed to import a cheap cast …any cast from eBay ….I was able to project for the first time to a semi-smart TV via HDMI …WiFi connection… Though connections take time… I was really happy… The type C port is such a waste I’ve never gotten a way of charging or doing anything with it ….

i called Microsoft guys who did the job…

the only issue is the battery drain.. i used to get 8-10 hrs but now am getting less than 5 hours… quite a disappointment…. even on battery saver mode

good thing the overheating issue has been well taken care of by the economy mode-best battery life

the have also removed the battery option settings that did the magic on tweaking the battery life
