I would surely never (never!) buy Teclast crap anymore. And I’m suggesting my friends and colleagues not to buy their products.
Zero assistance, zero maintenance, zero updates, zero warranty… users have been totally ignored.
Teclast just throw out new “models” with old issues and stop maintaining “old” models. ๐

November 14, 2016 at 10:17 am #56908No. Really. Do not buy this piece of crap!
After 1 year the battery is almost dead, there are big SD card issues, no support (NO SUPPORT!) from Teclast, unexistant warranty, risk of bricking your deviceย by only updating windows, etc.
October 10, 2016 at 8:58 am #54579Looks like the problem is still present:
Teclast X98 Plus II (C2D4) – Windows 10 -MicroSD-Problems (fast and large ones)
September 27, 2016 at 11:01 am #50930I agree with you. I’m on a A5C6 Windows only tablet.
I also would say that I will never (never!) buy their crap. The amount of issues we had with these tablets and the lack of any kind of assistance from Teclast are totally insane! ๐
August 22, 2016 at 1:37 pm #47634No, don’t buy this piece of crap.
I own one X98 Plus (A5C6) and there are more cons than pros.Teclast has no customer service, devices become unsupported after just 2 months and a simple windows update could brick your device.
Better spend few more money and buy branded products.
August 16, 2016 at 8:30 am #46979I just managed to update my X98 Plus (A5C6) Windows 10 only (no android).
I downloaded the Media Creation Tool from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
It will take about 2 hours or even more.
NOTE: if you experienced SD card problems, you should remove SD card before start the update. After the process is finished, reinstall old Windows 8 drivers, like explained here: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/reading-sdxc-card/
Hope it helps.

August 9, 2016 at 10:38 am #46236Me too, but my X98 Plus (A5C6) is stuck at 44% while installing after reboot.
I tried two times, one for the whole night without success. ๐
June 17, 2016 at 8:50 am #41284Someone says that Cube is a good manufacturer but I don’t have experience with them.
June 17, 2016 at 8:48 am #41283Apparently it is possible http://pinoutsguide.com/PortableDevices/usb_otg_pinout.shtml You need to put a certain type of resistor between the ID connection instead of the standard gnd Iโll post if I have success
This is what ACASIS H027 does ( https://www.amazon.com/Acasis-H027-Charging-Simultaneous-Transmisson/dp/B00SZNT0ZU )
But it is not working on X98 Plus\X80 Plus.
June 14, 2016 at 12:58 pm #40931I would never (never!) buy nor recommend Teclast products to anyone.
They just throw out new crap models instead caring of old ones (if you mean “old” for a 2 months-old tablet).
June 7, 2016 at 10:37 am #40132OMG! At Teclast they really suck… how the fuck is possible to brick a Windows device just by updating a driver!!!
May 27, 2016 at 12:39 pm #38796I really hate this chinese crap… how the fuck is possible to brick a device just updating Windows!
If I count all issues I have with my tablet, I would not recommend it to anyone.May 25, 2016 at 12:53 pm #38557thanks for the good news
