I confirm the 128GB Londisk Micro SD works.
As long as it’s genuine. I got a fake one on ebay which had only 16GB of very slow memory. Now using a 128GB Sandisk Evo+ which works and is fast.
May 2, 2017 at 4:36 pm #66374Did you have an SD card in the slot when you opened the cover? That can break it.
April 17, 2017 at 10:24 am #65442Try resetting BIOS to default and restoring Windows using the factory image? The fact it works before sleep suggests a software issue.

March 9, 2017 at 9:11 am #63169I don’t plan to buy another licence so I’ll probably end up sending it back.
It’ll be a lot cheaper to buy a license on ebay (a few $s) than post back to China. I’d speak to Banggood first.
February 26, 2017 at 8:53 pm #62749I’m feeling win 10 isn’t all that great as a solo tablet OS, I would like to have Android..
Probably best to sell this tablet and get an android one.
February 25, 2017 at 9:21 am #62685Doing it in BIOS seems to bypass and reset the windows calibration.
February 25, 2017 at 5:53 am #62683The secret seems to be let the battery drain out while in BIOS. Just doing it in Windows seems to have no effect.
February 24, 2017 at 8:51 pm #62677Thanks for that info. Look forward to the results of my calibration later.
Keep us posted.
I just finished a second cycle of calibration, with screen brightness at lowest, power-saver power plan, and battery saver on. Battery wear now at 7.3%, capacity 39,870mWh
Might not be a good idea too do this often though. I’ve read that deep charge/discharge cycles can damage lithium batteries.
February 24, 2017 at 1:57 pm #62670I think I solved problem with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Kc-gRurUL0 Apparently there is some issue with driver when tablet goes sleep. Clean boot (not from suspend) have no problem with touchpad, strange things happen when I suspend and resume from sleep.
That solution is for ghost touches on the touch screen. But great if it works on the keyboard touchpad too. I’ve never noticed ghost touches on the touchpad.
February 24, 2017 at 1:43 pm #62669I’m using a 128gb Samsung evo, and it works very well so far.
Good to know. Is this the card?
February 24, 2017 at 1:32 pm #62667The only thing you can do is disable the annoying gestures. There’s also a way to get Windows to recognize it as a “precision touchpad” mentioned in the 4PDA forum, which may help, I haven’t tried it yet. With the gestures disabled I find the touchpad usable, if not ideal.
February 24, 2017 at 1:15 pm #62664It’s currently showing as 38,990 mWh of 43,000mWh (9.3% wear). Was showing over 19% wear yesterday. Will see if I can get it even lower.
February 24, 2017 at 12:03 pm #62661My “128GB Netac” turned up today. Sadly fake as hell! Supposedly 80mb/s read speed only got 10mb/s. Would show errors and dismount if i tried to write to it. It was however, ironically, recognized by the i7 book. Will be getting a refund. Dont’t buy memory cards from this ebay seller in the UK… http://stores.ebay.co.uk/geoff9774/
February 24, 2017 at 5:45 am #62651My battery wear went from 19% to 9% by doing the following… Fully charge battery > Set power plan to balanced & screen brightness to 50% (set screen to never turn off) > leave it to discharge battery till off > boot into BIOS and let it run till battery fully runs out > leave switched off and fully charge
I think this serves to show that the reported figure of “battery wear” should be taken with a pinch of salt. It can fluctuate wildly depending on your pattern of use and how the tablet is charged/discharged. And is reversible.
