Those ghost touches  are Samsung/Microsoft to blame thing. I have same issue on Surface pro 1 gen. Just turn off touch driver when device is plugged to charger. I can recommend logitech k380.

I tried linux on cube i get very aggresive throttling. If i try for example sculpt on this device it throttles to 800mhz and is almost not usable. Temps are around 60’C. In windows it gets very hot like 90’C but never throttles.

The Baseus 45W powerbank on aliexpress will work .

Im not sure if this baseus will work. I have three baseus pd chargers, 30W car charger, 30W and 60W wall chargers and all of them do not want charge Cube mix plus. They only work if i plug them throught dodocool 7in1 hub. I wonder if this powerbank has same issue but i would not risk ordering another baseus.

    regards.

18W from power delivery is too small. You will need at last 24W power output. Preferable 30W.

“I measured 12+V between the terminals of the barrel jack” that 12v is not important. What kind of usb c charger did you tried? It has to be charger with power delivery 24W minimum.

Hi, i think that the problem is PD 3.0. It is not fully compatibile with PD 1.0 that cube mix plus supports. Today ive finally put ma hands on car charger

that supports power delivery and on tablet it showed that charger is plugged but charging was not working (battery was not discharging either). But when i used dodocool usb 7in1 hub it works fine.

Hi Kaitlyn, i do not understand what do you mean by “stylus stuck to it” but if you want decent expirience with this tablet i would recomend buying different pen. The original one is piece of shit, at last it probably did not cost much. I assume that you live in US so i think that absolute best you can get is pen for dell canvas, its same tech and it supports two side buttons instead of one in your pen. Its expensive but its worth that money. (This one can only be obtained in usa, rest can be get worldwide). Other choices might be axiotron studio pen. ( for some reason i cant write type of other good pens some bbcodes issue here, ive added spacec between letters and numbers. wacom u p 8 1 7 e and u p 9 1 1 e,

If you are on a tight budget the only choice is Fujitsu t730 or Fujitsu t5010 pens. Their shape is a bit odd but they are ok. I even see that on aliexpress fujitsu t5010 pen cost 12euro. Any other choice in my opinion is waste of money.

    Best regards.

It depends on how much dock can provide and how much your hdd needs. If cube is pluged to charger or battery is full or almost full, hdd via dodocool 7in1 works fine with toschiba canvio. But as soon as amount of power drops, cube cant keep it up. Its because toschiba needs 5V 1A, and dodocool can provide 5V and 0.9A. You can try to find a bit more efficient hdd so it might work in any case.  All of this is refered to usbtype C and 7in1 hub. When hdd is used with usb3.1 hdd works fine even if the battery is low.

Hmm, should be fine. Maybe you messed something in bios? Try to plug hard drive when cube is pluged to charger.

Ive tested toschiba canvio 750gb and some Seagate 500gb. Both worked fine. Ive checked this with usbc and usb 3.1. Check how much amp your hard drive needs.

In theory, surface pro 1/2 and surface 1/2 touch and type cover keyboards have similar dimensions but they do not weight much so you will have problems with weight distribution. On the other hand there is a nice case for surface 1/2 (non pro) that almost fits with cube mix plus ( you need to bend pieces that hold tablet) made by stilgut. So the only problem is connection which im 100% sure wont fit. But with a little knowlage, some modifications it might work. But its almost impossible. 😀

im using surface non pro case and after a little modification it fits. In general the only difference is that sp is a bit thiner. Sp pro is on the other side a bit thicker. But the screen ratio is same so the only thing that will probably not match is front camera.

If aluminium and copper touch each other, aluminium will degrade and get destroyed. So there is a huge chance that shim will move and shortcircuit cmp.

I would look for some similar battery size made for big brands tablets like for example samsung. Those batteries in cube are probably piece of shit.
