I tried to talk about this here:

    CPU tuning after thermal mod

    I hadn’t had any fan ^.^u

I’ll not Touch the BIOS Settings as I’ve seen that in real-life tests the CPU isn’t at 100% full time and flutuates so the turbo boost is launched much more freqüently than in those synthetic benchmaks.

May be interesting to squeeze a little bit more this Jewel but it will not run Cemu at 100% anyway (I get about 20-25fps).

Well, I’ve tested adding a thermal pad strip (1mm thick) above the RAM modules and I repeated the test: same result.

Here you have some screenshots to see what I’m refering:

First one, the temperature graph, as you can see there’s no thermal throttling issue at all neither high temp, just about 64 degrees after +10min.

Second one, the speed clock, as I told before. At start raises to 2.6 then goes down to a fixed x12 multiplier resulting ~1.2 ghz

The last one, the voltage, at the same time it lowers the cpu speed it also lowers the volts supplied to the cpu.

I think we can go up until it achieves the 90 degrees in case we need it as it supports (messing around the BIOS I’ve seen it halts at 95 degrees with passive cooling so it shouldn’t be a problem).

Does anyone know how to do the trick?

I’m sure it’s about BIOS config or maybe any Intel app to tune it but I don’t know how to do it 🙁

    Thanks mates!

Definitely no, it doesn’t charge at all through the usb-c port or at least I didn’t manage to do that.

Finally, after a couple of days struggling with error 0x80070002 – 0x20007, I’ve succeeded in installing Win10 1607 update. What I have done so far:

    1. Re-downloaded and built (physically) another USB installation drive with MS Media Creation Tool on the other PC, choosing the proper Windows version and language.
    2. Connected this drive to the tablet with different OTG hub (not that, bundled with the tablet). No keyboard and mouse, only OTG hub with USB drive.
    3. From under Win10, started setup from USB drive, asked to keep all my files and settings.

The upgrade went seamlessly and took about an hour or so. All the drivers are in place and show no errors. Will see, if there are any problems with WiFi or SD card.

    Please, confirm that.

If there’s any other way we’ll have to reinstall the stock windows and then update (instead of a clean installation) to keep the sd reading possibility…

Really? Is it working with this solution?

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sdbus\Parameters] “DisableUhsSupport”=dword:00000000

I’m having the same problems with several SD cards. A kingston 32GB isn’t being recognized at all but some others (2 samsung 64GB and a netac 128GB, working perfectly on a X98 Pro) are exactly showed as you described (it shows “Code error 10” in details).

I answer myself… it doesn’t fix the problem.

Same issue of the first iteration of the Plus model is repeated in this one, ashaming…

I think that any of us are in the same situation about the SD card reading.

Don’t expect any support from teclast… let’s see if a genious guess the proper key to touch…

    Teclast Windows To Android Switcher

Or you can search for the OS Switch program here in the forums in any of the tablets from Teclast to get the latest one but as far as I know any of them will work.

    Same problema here…

A Kingston 32GB XC Class10 U1 isn’t working and even isn’t detected (no sound when inserted)

Two Samsung 64GB XC Class10 U1 aren’t working but they are detected (sound is played when are inserted/removed)

A Netac 128GB XC U3 isn’t working, sound is played when inserted/removed but I can’t see it in Windows explorer.

All of them are working perfectly on the Android part so it can’t be a hardware problem… it’s the f*cking Windows drivers, come on TECLAST!!!

Same issue is mirrored in the new PLUS II, I reinstalled a clean 1607 Windows10 image with all drivers restored from my own backup, device manager says everyhting is ok but it doesn’t work.

It’s strange as it works perfectly in Android but not in Windows and all drivers are supposed to be ok.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Hello i’ll help you. Give me the exact path of the file please

It used to be in windows/INF director on Plus and Pro versions but it seems it’s not necessary with plus2

    Thanks a lot anyway!

    You’re right!

I didn’t need it to fix my issue, I just made a recalibration of the touchscreen and it works perfectly now!!

I don’t know why it was wrong but just going to the calibration options and restoring to default was just enough.

Thanks to all great users from this forum!

    Hi everyone!

Can someone upload the “TouchSettings.gt” file from the Windows/INF directory?

I reinstalled Windows10 in a new Plus II (C2D4) and I forgot to backup this file, now touchscreen is weird and I cannot calibrate it neither (I’ve tried with mine from x98Pro and from an another AC67 and they didn’t worked properly).

This file isn’t inside the dirvers .zip of this site  🙁

    Thanks!

Use it with an external power source, the output power is not enough to spin your hard drive rotor.

You’ll need an OTG hub with additional power source like this one http://es.aliexpress.com/item/Universal-usb-OTG-Charger-HUB-cable-for-Tablet-PC-thinkpad-8-X98-M80ta-WT-8-Miix2/2038609573.html?spm=2114.10010408.1000022.1.u4Gaqj&isOrigTitle=true&isOrig=true#extend

** It doesn’t charge the Plus tablet while using OTG, it’s a Plus issue, with the Pro works perfectly.

If you don’t see the pendrive on bios it’s because you’re doing something wrong… it MUST be in FAT32 and it MUST be bootable (obvious).

I suggest you downloading Win10 ISO from MS servers, install on a pen using rufus (check MBR for UEFI and FAT32 format), install windows regulary and then reinstall drivers disabling the signature check, that’s all!.

(Then you should make the usual “fine tuning” like editing the screen response, audio enhacements, etc).
