July 16, 2016 at 5:29 pm #43652Hi Guys!
I’ve been waiting the re-programming tools for so long to fix the corrupted Teclast BIOS update (thanks Chuwi for bricking my table), I did all the proccess and everything goes well as expected on the Bill Christiansen tutorial, the tablet is working but the screen is black, I had to connect it by HDMI to see it was working, Then I was checking if the screen ribbon cable was ok and it was well placed as it was before the wrong teclast update appeared..
Do you have any idea why my screen is not turning on, where the problem is? is it possible something about disconnecting and connecting the battery? something like after doing this, the screen panel is not getting enough power? It’s so annoying that the tablet is working but the screen is black.. hope anyone put some light on this, thanks

May 28, 2016 at 10:38 am #38897I’ve found this video in spanish doing all the process to erase android and make a clean windows install for the Chuwi Vi10:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJTwqCkTMTM
According to this video you have to:
- Make a booteable usb with the windows disc image in rufus software
- Delete ALL partitions and install windows
- Install all drivers with DoubleDrive software
- Install the driver/patch to make the touch panel works well
it seems so easy… anyone who has made this already and can let us now if it works for Chuwi Hi12? any change about performance and battery life?
May 25, 2016 at 9:20 pm #38600Giving assistant?? where?
May 23, 2016 at 9:35 pm #38408Well done Chuwi!! finally you’ve heard the customer complaints and fixed the shutdown issue when battery was about 30%, It never happens again for me since I updated the Bios, In addition I have set my ram speed at 1600 mhz and works great, amazing Chuwi! this is the support we’re expecting from a professional team! keep this way and you’ll have happy customers and sales increasing!!
May 22, 2016 at 8:13 am #38224I couldn’t find a replacement yet, the original despite it was a little bit broken works and fits perfectly, what do you mean that connections are not plugging back? can you upload a pic or video with the issue? you can have a look at the tutorial I’ve made when I fixed my Chuwi Hi12

May 21, 2016 at 10:42 pm #38192There is a kind of bad glue over the plugs, it is not very resistant so just have pull VERY carefully, remember that if you break the plugs there’s no way you can make your tablet work anymore as the plugs will not be able to make pressure on the ribbon cable contacts. Don’t get afraid, just take your time and be pacient, you can put same hot air with a hair dryer to melt this glue around the plugs.
Since I fixed my tablet it works perfectly! Now I’m trying the new BIOS (hopefully it fix the 30% battery crash issue) and waiting for my stylus to come,
let us know if you can fix your tablet finally,
Good luck!
May 18, 2016 at 7:30 am #37792Today I’ve just played a video in Full HD for 5 min (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5_GlAOCHyE) and the computer shutdown suddenly with 46% of battery, this is crazy!!! I’ve checked in the Bios and my memory ram frequency is set at 1067 Mhz, I have the Dual Boot model…
We need a solution from Chuwi!!
May 17, 2016 at 12:08 pm #37684Same battery issue for me, my Chuwi Hi12 shutdown itself when is around 27-30% of battery, if I turn it on again it works during 5-10 min and shutdown again, hope Chuwi say something about this cause is a general problem
