Thanks to the increased core speeds (up to +21% in Boost for the 25 Watt version), the new MX250 should be slightly faster than the older MX150. First benchmarks indicate a 5% increase.

    5% only not worth it!!!!

What I did on my Chuwi Hi13 was repaste and a larger thermal pad, lowered max temps about 7 degrees C, but the back will get really hot gaming. Core M3 is much hotter so repaste and add more copper. See chris’s thermal mode like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ColfL1KyzlU

Try the same and it should be much cooler.

Also Gareth, do you recommend the F6 Pro? I’m also looking at the F7. Did you get it with Gearbest, which postage method did you use I want to avoid VAT & Tax if possible. I’m in London.

Did you do what Chris said? Check the ribbon connect for the screen now too. If not hardware fault on the panel.

Nice one! That is fast for an eMMC, you got luck there pal

I saw a Samsung posted, slower readers but about 100 writes. You want faster? Get an SSD!

Reset this = Factory restore or recovery. Type Reset in the search bar of Windows and you will see the option.

I’ve just seen the review Chris posted. I’m thinking the same, from his video the screen doesn’t look any where near as bad as the first comments here. Okay sure the viewing angles suck vertically. But think about it. How do you view your screen? Facing you or facing the floor? Not sure about you but I look at my screen on my Hi12 directly front on. But sometimes I do lay it flat and use the hipen. However it is a tablet so different.

I’m more concerned about that wireless issue now. In Chris’s testing seems he has a good unit & Zi Cheng has a lemon.

@zi-cheng Any updates on the wireless? Also did you update to the latest Intel driver? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24345/Intel-Driver-Update-Utility

Roland, I think you’ll find that Windows under Intel HD settings it will be 1920 x 1080 max res your photo doesn’t look like a 768p screen to me. Well I think I will get the 7Y30 Mi Notebook Air 12 and just live with 4GB of RAM sucks as I wanted 8GB.

Jumper failed big time on this one, this is a flagship laptop from them? I think not!
