May 19, 2017 at 9:02 pm #67244what updates?
April 26, 2017 at 11:42 am #66092there are non, and never will be … don’t buy a shitty cube product next time.
April 16, 2017 at 8:22 pm #65411I bought the 8300 version for 105Euros which was “””ok””” for this tablet, because I just use it as a stationary video tablet for Twitch and DVB-C at my bed. Other from that, I don’t advice buying it, especially not for Android. Maybe the refresh is better, the first usb-c version is shitty as hell though, lots of issues.

April 13, 2017 at 11:40 am #65218Worst of them all.
February 15, 2017 at 8:22 am #62219What does “touch driver wrong” and “is there something disabling the touch when the tablet is send to energy saving” mean. Please proper English logic sentences. Here is all btw you need and working instead of Intel GPU drivers, need to download on Intel site:
February 11, 2017 at 11:28 pm #62047Just format and recover to default image via the Intel tools…
February 11, 2017 at 11:27 pm #62046For what do you want to have a backup bios?
- There is no bios update for this tablet and there wont ever be one
- if the bios is damaged, you cant recover it anymore, so what does the backup do you any favor
February 11, 2017 at 11:26 pm #62045As I said: I am tired of telling this to every new person asking for this. It was debated 100 times now here and in other threads. Read along if you want to understand the problem. Buy another tablet, or use 8/16gb cards with it, otherwise you will lose your data.
February 3, 2017 at 11:06 am #61503use an old (and slow) 8-16gb card, this tablet has problems with bigger ones. also make sure your card is authentic and not a china fake one.
February 3, 2017 at 11:02 am #61502You wont be able to do what you want, because the tablet has no “proper usb c” port. Devices which can be charged while using usb c need to have the USB PD (power delivery) standard, which just works with USB 3.1 + usb c. Also the “usb c port” has no meaning for data other than charging it. If you have the “new” version of the new version, aka 3rd generation, it may work, but I doubt it. Basically meaning: the usb c port on this tablet is a fake port. It has no USB 3.0, nor can you charge + data with it. The tablet has no USB 3.0 port in summary, you wont be able to use a gbit usb adapter with it.
I have no way of phyiscally testing it yet, but there is a proper usb 3.0 device found by the device manager (though I guess its technically possible to make a usb controller reports a fake name or something). I did read upon some forms that this device did indeed not have a proper usb 3.0 port in the beginning, but some people mentioned that later revisions actually do have a fully working usb 3.0 port. But to bad that I can’t charge and use a hub at the same time… making it kinda useless for the long term use.
*rolls eyes* yes, there is in the device manager, but it’s not wired… like I said, there was/is a newest revision, where they “fixed” the proper wiring, but charging + data still wont work. also, it is not advised to use this tablet on ac/dc while using it, because the charging logic is broken/bad programmed or has a bug, or actually, it cant drain enough power to keep it working. it will literally ruin the battery over time, because it will charge it in a loop between 95-100% while using it.

January 14, 2017 at 5:51 pm #60429It seems the problem is a mix of faulty Intel drivers AND Intel GPU bios/me firmware, which unfortunatly just can be fixed fia bios update, suggested by several posts on the Intel forums:
https://communities.intel.com/thread/78498
https://communities.intel.com/thread/95893
So I guess this tablet is dead, because Cube will never release any bios updates.
