Open up the backing and manually unplug the battery.  If you can boot it plugged in with the charger, then turn it off, reattach the battery and it should be fine.  This weird battery state happens from time to time.

I sent my Teclast F7Plus laptop back to China at a cost of $100.  It has been 4 months in transit.  Teclast refused the shipment and so it is now on the way back to my garbage can here in Canada.  Please do not even consider this company for any purchase.

Very late reply, but a Linux user here. Sadly on KDE Neon, tablet mode isn’t working. It probably works on other DE or distro, though.

On my Jumper EZBook 3 Pro the black plastic frame on the main body side (not screen side) of the case broke because the hinge on that side became too hard to open.  The plastic broke and the brass ferrules were no longer held in the plastic.  Thus the hinge on that side was not held down to anything.

Have same problem after 3 months the plastic on the main body is very flimsy and shattered no the hinge is adrift and cannot open the laptop whitout damaging the screen 🙁

I’m also considering buying Redmibook. Everything seems nice on paper.

The downside is just lack of webcam and backlit keyboard but I think I can live with it because I don’t really need them.

Attempted to upgrade Ezbook X3 to Win10 2004: failed.

Lost mouse cursor and any Touchpad input.

External USB mouse still worked.

Tried above fixes via BIOS: failed.

Disconnected power and battery (opened bottom) for 10 minutes.

Reconnected Battery (and disconnected external USB mouse), restarted and cursor and Touchpad worked again.

I found no support, but tried the reset, disconnecting etc.  I mailed my Laptop back to Teclast in February 2020 at a cost of $97 for surface insured.  As of June 2020, 4 months later, it is still in transit.  Sending the laptop back to Teclast  has not been successful yet.
