cardoso ignore the white just cover them with tape walter there might be a problem your batteries have charging controllers and you soldered them to the main charging controller. that might not work. if it does not work, you have to bypass either the battery controller or the main controller and connect directly to the red and black cables what go to the jumper.

I bought similar batteries (each with charging controllers), can I just solder the wires without bypassing the controllers? Thanks.

I was curious about that but was leery of messing with the batteries without them so I did it the way I did. Like I said, I have no experience with this stuff and I didn’t want to start a fire or something. lol It got late last night so I didn’t have a chance to test it out yet, although the charging light did turn green and I unplugged it just before bed. I have to wait until I get home from work tonight to test it out. If it doesn’t work I’ll open it back up again and remove the ones from the batteries. UPDATE: Booted up and is working great. It’s the first time in months I’ve been able to use it without it being plugged in. The Windows battery meter in the taskbar is only reading 78% and telling me I only have an hour and 38 minutes left but I don’t think it’s correct.

1981 soldered my first Sinclair computer 1K, tapedeck * 1984 build and sold IBM clones 8Mhz, 512K, 20MB HDD * 2018 messing with ultrabooksNovember 6, 2018 at 5:14 pm #147928Anyways as of now I really discourage any one to get these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-5000-mah-lithium-battery-3-7-v-approx-8-inches-Sanei-N83-N86-AMPE/955308174.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.3b2e4c4d9oFULd
I have ordered these: [L463] 3.7V 8100mAh [4812080] PLIB (polymer lithium ion battery ) for tablet pc;power bank;e-book;CELL PHONE https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/b4vQYvDf I hope they’ll end up being better than the original ones. Battery Bar on my Ezbook says the batteries discharge at a rate of ~10mA (not sure if this is the correct measuring unit, though…) and they currently last around 4.5 hours which is not that bad. I’d love it to reach 7-8 hours…
Hi luca,
I would like to buy the battery you suggest.
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/b4vQYvDf
Are they still good after 2 months of use? I need to buy only one in this case not two as for the other type?
For this Battery I have only 2 cable (1 red and 1 black). How can attach them to the original controller of jumper or I need to use a different one that I will receive with the battery?
I can use the original changer of jumper or I need to buy a new one?
Many thanks
Sergio
November 6, 2018 at 5:26 pm #147929Hi Sergio,
On page 2 or 3 of this topic you can find the pictures that answer your questions about how to attach new batteries to the original Jumper controller.
Unfortunately I can’t say anything about the replacement batteries simply because my original ones are still working perfectly, therefore I have not changed them yet.
You still have to buy two batteries though.
November 7, 2018 at 6:13 pm #147962it is pretty simple, order batteries without charging board , just 2 cables.
connect the 4 cables from the 2 batteries where the old ones were.
come on, it is one of the simplest things.
If you are chicken, let a professional do it.

My battery life on Ezbook Jumper 3 Pro is “shrinking”. After 4 months of ordinary use it lasts 2,5 hours on “eco”.
I found yesterday that offer on Ali https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/Bateria-do-EZPad-EZbook-3-Tablet-PC-Bateria-Nowy-li-polymer-Polimerowy-Akumulator-Akumulatora-Wymiana-HW3487265/32946226882.html?spm=a2g0s.13010208.99999999.260.12523c00IekwJ1
Has anyone replace the battery or could advise the most approprate battery on Ali? Maybe there is a tutorial on YT but could not find it. Thanks for ur help.

This is what the whole thread is about.
Just read it from the beginning and you will find all the answers to your questions… 😉
November 8, 2018 at 9:21 am #147994Hi Luca,
I read this thread page by page and did not find the final answer.
The facts are: there are 2 types of battery:
- Ready to use but a little bit expensive (https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/Bateria-do-EZPad-EZbook-3-Tablet-PC-Bateria-Nowy-li-polymer-Polimerowy-Akumulator-Akumulatora-Wymiana-HW3487265/32946226882.html?spm=a2g0s.13010208.99999999.260.12523c00IekwJ1)
- Not prepared for an easy replacement but relatively cheap (chinese or japan cells – no one knows): –
- https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/V020-3-8V-3-7V-6000mAH-4012680-PLIB-Polymer-lithium-ion-Li-ion-battery-LG/32376733840.html?spm=a2g0s.13010208.99999999.339.21c63c00RalIYu

- or there are some different alternatives on Ali
The question is if they work more than 4 hours and fit the place after the original one is removed?
Thanks

…..I believe the choice is currently between
and
regarding assembly, the significant difference between one and the other is the thickness 4,2mm vs 4,8mm

November 8, 2018 at 10:12 pm #148009Hello,
I’m new to the battery issue and just finished reading trough the whole discussion. While reading I noticed that the batteries found under the link https://www.aliexpress.com/item/L552-3-7V-6000mAH-4212078-PLIB-Polymer-lithium-ion-Li-ion-battery-LG-cell-for/32531318879.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.72184c4dxm2CGP are not the same as seen on the photos (6600mah vs 7000mah) posted by euplio who made a successful battery swap. I wanted to let ypu know my concerns and ask if maybe anyone has already made any experiences with this 7000mah cells in terms of size etc
November 11, 2018 at 6:43 pm #148082Hello
About three months ago I bought the batteries on aliexpress
I changed the original batteries for the ones I bought on aliexpress
https://es.aliexpress.com/item/V020-3-8V-3-7V-6000mAH-4012680-PLIB-Polymer-lithium-ion-Li-ion-battery-LG/32376733840.html?spm=a2g0s.
I took photos and I made a video that is on YouTube. Although the language is Spanish, I believe that the images can help you. However, the duration of the batteries was very good during the first recharges (5 hours). But as the weeks pass, the duration decreases more and more (now an hour and a half).
November 18, 2018 at 9:35 pm #148237Finally i replaced the batteries with these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/L552-3-7V-6000mAH-4212078-PLIB-Polymer-lithium-ion-Li-ion-battery-LG-cell-for/32531318879.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.12e04c4dKXygv5
But everyone else’s in battery bar shows 48.000 mWh and mine is 36.480 mWh.
Is something wrong here? Is a bad battery again?!

thanks for all the infomation gathered here in this board. I do have an ezbook 3 pro since june 2018 from a german warehouse through geekbuying. The battery duration is extremley dissapointing, i get 3 hours with 25% brightness on very modest usage (webbrowsing, 5 tabs open). attached is the battery bar statistic. I am not able to buy a battery from aliexpress as it does not deliver to germany. But besides that i do not want to solder on batteries…. Did anybody buy a readymade battery unit and what are the experiences?
