where are the batteries from and how much did the cost?Need Help?
1981 soldered my first Sinclair computer 1K, tapedeck * 1984 build and sold IBM clones 8Mhz, 512K, 20MB HDD * 2018 messing with ultrabooksAugust 7, 2018 at 7:58 pm #145262The new battery I bought it from Turkey and most probably it is Chinese size is 10 cm to 7 cm. Which cost me 8 USD each.

charge to 100% , unplugset scree to maximum brightness and play a youtube video in hd 720p and full screen until computer shuts down or goes into standby.
that should be around 12 watt/h
your battery should last in this test for around 4 hours, check every 30 minutes and write down the Dolum Orani, Full Runtime and Kapasite left.if your new battery was smaller AND lighter in weight it might been a cheap one with just 25 to 35% of the printed on capacity.
The first what you do with a new battery is check the weight. high weight = high capacityThe Jumper expects a standard battery capacity and most models are not designed to report and recalculate the true capacity, only how much they can store and use.
A cheap battery is always a low capacity battery, no matter what they write down.Need Help?
1981 soldered my first Sinclair computer 1K, tapedeck * 1984 build and sold IBM clones 8Mhz, 512K, 20MB HDD * 2018 messing with ultrabooksAugust 8, 2018 at 6:23 am #145272This morning I installed different battery program to check also the windows standard battery indicator shows around 4.5 hours and all other do so.
I think battery bar has got a problem as when i have started this morning on battery it was showing 34 minutes left where windows was 2 hours 45 minutes
Now it has been 50 minutes that i’m using the laptop battery bar shows 38 minutes windows shows 2 hours 5 minutes and at 43 %.
I will do as you mentioned will leave it open during the day but for instance it seems ok for 4-5 hours
August 8, 2018 at 7:47 am #145274Still waiting for mine. I’ll post here once all done.
Meanwhile I’ve received a voltmeter and decide to measure the batteries (they have been removed from ezbook for over a month). See the pics for results. Maybe someone can shed some light on the results because I don’t understand.
Remember my ezbook would not stay on, even for a second, if the power supply was unplugged.

August 8, 2018 at 12:11 pm #145278For instance on the battery bar it shows 1 hour 56 minutes and it seems that this the real value. I was expecting much better with 5000 mah.
There should be something to increase that, i’m also thinking about the windows update, will try it for while and if it does not get better will restart with a clean windows install.
August 8, 2018 at 1:25 pm #145282So because my ezbook now dies with 20% charge and takes <10 minutes to go from 50-20 i’m in need of help.
bloody shoddy cheap batteries!
how easy it for a novice this battery replacement?
August 9, 2018 at 12:18 pm #145304if you know how to solder it is not a big deal
August 9, 2018 at 2:40 pm #145312thanks for all the advice. I just ordered 2 of the battery on the link due to the same problem with my ezbook. Will report back later.
Interestingly, there’s other batteries from the same seller that in the reviews section looks like lots of people have installed in their ezbook 3 pros… cant find an example right now but i guess its being done. the 2x6600MAH seems the highest capacity though.
I also ordered this charger since shitty charger may screw up the battery. (tip: message the seller for power cable of your country)
will keep you updated

August 10, 2018 at 7:25 pm #1453994.35 shows full charge
3.47 shows totally depleted battery
7.79 shows both batteries in rowso you have one what works and one what is either defect or does not get charged because the charger part is defect (inside the battery where all the cables lead to the computer.
a defect battery does kind of block the power from the good one
and regarding windows 10 battery info
M$ has not done one proper OS since they bought one and sold it to IBM as IBM DOS 1.0
and 10 is the worst with new alpha versions coming up as redstone 1-5Need Help?

From memory i believe the battery dimensions are 110mm * 60mm * 11mm(stack of 2 battery) and they are rated at 3.85v as well.
August 11, 2018 at 10:18 am #145418if you have space for a 3 mm battery a nearly double so thick might proof tricky when trying to close the bottom plate
