January 7, 2017 at 12:14 am #60025yes. When prompted go advance and delete all the partitions in your ssd. Windows will recreate them (see attached images)

January 6, 2017 at 10:18 pm #60024The tablet comes with a legit copy of windows 10 home. If you reinstall the system it shoud automaticly activates your OS. anyway for security reasons save your product key (search the web). I’ve installed a legit copy of windows 10 PRO needed for my business but the procedure is the same. 1. Download the latest windows 10 64bit ISO using “Microsoft media creation tool” : https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10 2. Launch the tool and save the ISO (don’t create directly the usb stick) 3. Download RUFUS to create a bootablet USB STICK : https://rufus.akeo.ie/ 4. Select the windows ISO and then use use GPT as partition scheme. Press start and your bootable windows 10 installation program USB STICK is done 5. Reboot your system with the usb stick inserted in the usb port and during bootstrap press F8 to choose where to boot from (choose the usb stick just created) 6. Let the windows intallation program to create and format partitions When it is done install the drivers https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/clean-windows-update/#post-59607

January 4, 2017 at 6:56 am #59769did someone manage to install a fully working Remix OS on his Cube i9? Tried several 3.x builds and each of them had problems with the touchscreen.
You need to install the cubei9 remix bios 2.7, then it will work for you. I installed on the SSD.
January 4, 2017 at 6:52 am #59768If i say “now it works flawlessly” i mean NOW IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY. Have a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPTpaIUxJWM
It definitely does not work flawlessly but now has wifi, touchscreen and sound. I have weird screen artifacts in some places, has frozen a few times and chrome wasnt loading anything.
January 4, 2017 at 6:35 am #59767Where did you get windows from? We have a legit copy of windows with this. What did you boot from to do your install? A USB drive, what was your procedure? Boot into the setup and do a format from there?

June 22, 2016 at 11:36 pm #41787Well turns out it’s a poor mans Cube i9 -> http://techtablets.com/2016/04/cube-iwork12-cube-i9-without-core-m3/
Does this mean the dual boot os will work with a cube i9? When will we see this file?
On a side note, is this forum on tapatalk?
June 22, 2016 at 8:36 pm #41778I use Remix because windows is sh*t. Only reason I bought the i9 is because all the android tablets use the rubbish x8300 and I wanted something a bit more powerful. Just wondered why I would need to update the bios since my tab works great as it is and I don’t want to upset the smooth running of it if the update doesn’t bring anything useful so to speak.
I have even worse experiences with android and most of the software I use isn’t available for android. Maybe I will give remix a try sometime. My HDMI is working again!!
Have you downloaded the iwork 12 files yet. I think you should offer to be a test subject and install that file 🙂
