I think this issue killed a hard drive for me, the tablet shut down while it was writing to a 2.5″ the drive without external power source 🙁
April 11, 2016 at 10:18 pm #33088I’ve ordered a power hub + ethernet that looks like a good accessory, but I haven’t received it yet: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Seenda-ICH-07-6-USB-3-0-Ports-Charger-Hub-with-One-10-100-1000Mbps-Ethernet/32589196449.html
I’m not happy with this purchase so far. When I hooked up one external 2,5″ HDD and an external SSD it cause my tablet to shutdown. I’m not sure what the problem is but I would assume it’s not powerful enough, which is really bad since it’s sold as a powered hub with extra charging ports.
I still haven’t managed to get the ethernet to work properly either. I would probably recommend staying away from this product.
April 6, 2016 at 9:28 pm #32325Olliolli2 works really well, not sure about the quality settings, think I was in default.
Voulme is playable on lowest settings, but I wouldn’t call it super smooth.
Hotline Miami ran well on default settings
April 5, 2016 at 9:31 pm #32191Did someone test 200gb micro sd card from Sandisk? (SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SD) Does this card work in Chuwi HI10?
I’m using a 200GB micro card in my phone and I did a backup of the card using my Hi10. The card only had 80GB of data so I’m not certain that the tablet can access the full 200GB. I’ve got black/blue USBs, running the 607 BIOS.
April 4, 2016 at 9:18 pm #32017I’m using a Targus Fit’n’Grip 9-10″ case (It’s not perfect, it interferes a little with the power switch and volume rocker, but it works). http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/targus-fit-n-grip-universal-case-for-9-10-1-tablets-black-tathz591

If it’s able to put out 5A on each USB port, it might be able to fry the Hi10 though :-/
April 4, 2016 at 6:12 am #31886So far my experience have been decent.
Best bet is to avoid free shipping, I think. Out of four orders, two arrived as they should, one got delayed and cancelled by me because an item wasn’t in stock, and one got sent to my alternative address in Sweden (I’m in Australia at the moment) thanks to paypal defaulting on my usual delivery address. (Air Parcel Register)
First order was my Chuwi Hi10, took a while to figure out which revision they would ship of the tablet, communicating was a bit difficult via the chat window. I used ‘Expedited Shipping Service”, tracking worked the whole way even if it was a bit delayed.
Last order the tracking disappeared as soon as the parcel left China, but it turned up within time estimate. (Air Parcel Register)
March 29, 2016 at 10:52 pm #31326I’ve done a backup of my 200GB Sandisk card that I usually have in my phone.
(card does not have more than a 80GB of data, so I can’t promise that the tablet can use all 200GB(183?) of the SDcard)
March 6, 2016 at 11:32 pm #28243My tablet is working pretty well. The Bluetooth is very weak though, can’t use it to stream audio to my Cambridge Audio Go V2.
There’s also a buzz when I use my headphones in the 3,5mm jack…and I’ve managed to scratch the display, although I’ve been super careful (Banggood tablets have no screen protection applied)
February 24, 2016 at 11:05 pm #26986I can’t remember where I’ve read it, but I’ve seen somewhere that some tablets have black USB3.0 ports. When I ordered mine from banggood I received a strange answer from customer service when I asked if the tablet had USB3.0 since only USB2.0 was listed in the spec sheet.
EDIT: Source for info about the color of the ports: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64651777&postcount=75

About this item 1004298,we just confirmed with the supplier again,it contains one blue USB 3.0 port and one blue USB 2.0 port, our related colleagues will update the information on our product page asap, you can order it with no worries. 🙂
***Doubt the tablet will have a blue USB2.0 port, but we’ll see 🙂 Hopefully I get it before the weekend.
February 24, 2016 at 8:39 pm #26975Did you test that it was a USB2.0 port?
I’ve come to understand that some units have black USB3.0 ports, but maybe that was not correct?
I’ve still not received my tablet, hopefully I wont have to flash it…would be good with confirmation if all dead units have been flashed.
