@chris
Found a slightly newer version: TM1612 A05From what i can tell, the 7Y30 uses a slightly different identification (7Y30: TM1607, 6Y30: TM1612), but maybe the bios version itself is identical.
July 13, 2017 at 1:21 pm #69169The display panel and integrated wacom chipset is identical with the Surface Pro 1/2, search for compatibility with those devices.
A simple overview can be found here: http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/threads/tabletpc-compatible-wacom-pens-surface-pro-pro2-only.55416/July 13, 2017 at 1:15 pm #69168Have you tried an USB-C charger?
For the default DC jack it is quite common that the V+ pin might detach itself from the mainboard, which results in no possible charging.
Check: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69245587&postcount=3510July 13, 2017 at 12:31 pm #69164The code: USAir13
is currently working to reduce the price for the 13.3″ model to ~580€.July 13, 2017 at 12:21 pm #69163@chris Did it worked correctly?
As a side note, i’d like to buy the Xiaomi Air as well, they are currently available as:
12.5″ 6Y30 for 390€
12.5″ 7Y30 for 440€
13.3″ 6200U for 580€The 13.3 looks promising with the better screen and more power, but i think the noise and temperature are to going to be a problem for me.
Do you think the 7Y30 would be a better choice for the 12.5″ model?July 11, 2017 at 8:06 pm #69045I uploaded it to mega.nz: A2W6_NA14_T0.017.zip
July 10, 2017 at 4:51 pm #69012Coupon seems no longer working, but they made a flash sale instead for the same price:
July 19, 2016 at 3:52 pm #43927I’m not sure what you didn’t understand, it’s pretty clear instructed: copy your bios backup file (which was created by the custom bios flasher, it also noted you should copy it to an safe external storage) then execute the restore flash.cmd file.
July 19, 2016 at 3:40 pm #43926The Cube i9 can work with the battery removed, the charger can supply 30W (2.5A * 12V) which is sufficient for this device.
Although it will always reset the BIOS settings to default if the power supply is disconnected.
July 8, 2016 at 3:42 pm #42921I’m pretty sure it includes the original bios as well, i will re-download and check it.
Edit:
It includes a bios from date 29.01.2016
On the XDA thread there is this link:

July 7, 2016 at 12:35 pm #42811Touchscreen update is also recommended to fix the windows button issue.
I have no issues with the custom bios, that fixed pwm frequency is no-brainer for me.
July 7, 2016 at 12:23 pm #42810No issues with the custom bios on my device.
And even with the slightly lower performance due to throttling, things liked the fixed pwm frequency outweighs this.
Edit: seems like the custom bios is by default at 7W, so there shouldn’t be any throttling if the temp is <80°C, otherwise it will throttle to keep the temp at max. 80°C
May 3, 2016 at 4:44 pm #35946The Touch controller inside the Cube i7 Stylus and Cube i9 is from FocalTech, while most others using a controller from Goodix.
I had various devices with a Goodix controller, they varied from acceptable to sluggish and sketchy.
The FocalTech controller on the Cube devices are very decent, fluent and accurate. On a ranking for chinese touchscreen controller quality it would be:
1. FocalTech
2. Silead
3. Goodix -
