My BMAX Y13 is not entering tablet mode correctly. Firstly, when I flip the screen back Windows is not entering tablet mode automatically.

I was not able to fix it, either.

Chuwi support told me to reflash BIOS. But I can’t even get to Boot Menu to boot from USB.
I asked them for a different solution. Now, they don’t answer any of my messages.

Has anyone disassembled it yet? Is there a CMOS battery to remove or any other way to reset settings?

There is new version of ATB, versiom 78, which also supports touchpad and touchscreen, but it also freezes, even with new clean installation.

How do you install on the microSD? When I do it my GRUB (EFI installed on the microSD) boots to the command line and doesn’t seem to find the microSD drive.

Unfortunately, could not make it work. We would need more precise instructions for the Lapbook Pro: how to enter the BIOS, when to press Esc or Enter, etc. and when to press in combination with Fn.

I don’t have the Lapbook at hand, but AFAIK the sequence should be similar (if it works that is). F2: previous settings, F3:optimized, F4: save&exit. Hope it helps.

I’ve had that happen once with a tablet. Most likely overheating, overcharging or simply old age. The latter wouldn’t seem applicable in your case, but maybe the charger is faulty or did you leave it plugged in a lot?

I have the same problem. Changed ‘OS select’ to ‘Linux’. Now the screen stays black after booting up.

I suspect the BIOS setting(s) can still be reset by “blind-typing” on the keyboard. See for example https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/lapbook-air-uefibios-sequence-to-restore-defaults/#post-141645.

In addition to former message, I cannot make a connection with the pc. The tablet is getting charged, but that is it. What settings do I overlook? In developers I have USB error-debug on and OEM unlock on. What else?
