I have one opened here. The main bios is a Winbond W25Q64FW (take care: W = 1.8V, don’t program it directly with a TL866CS or CH341A, you will kill it) The EC bios next to the ITE IT8987e is a Winbond W25LQ80 (3.3V) and can be programmed without adapter. I just have an issue… there are two board versions and I’m looking for the BIOS image of a board with a front marking 71P1R1 AP135 and a back marking that starts with AP12D

i have BIOS chip 25LB64CWIG and i would like to program via CH341A and 1.8v adpater

do you know hot to connect and how to use the software?

Can I flash my BIOS chip with CH341A? Do someone knows how to use it? Does YEPO or ez book 3 have CMOS battery?

It should be possible with CH341A, but never used it so for 5 bucks, you should give it a try… There is no cmos battery, the main battery cable is maintaining settings, disconnect it and you will have your bios reset…

Try to locate your chip and find the datasheet for it… Pinout is very important to not destroy the onboard chip with bad voltage input… If you don’t have skills to rework your board on failure with a new chip and a hot hair station, take care of it ^^ Common brand is Winbond or so… Good luck…

    My BIOS chip

    25LB64CWIG

    Look at the attached pictures

    What is the Winbond?

What .ROM or .BIN version of BIOS to use?

This is for all the users that killed their EZbook 3 Pro by flashing the BIOS.
You need to flash the BIOS SPI flash chip (GD25LQ64) with an external programmer (such as the CH341A) and a 1.8V adapter.
To do this you have to solder some wires directly to the motherboard. The clip that it often used with SOP8 chips won’t work because this is a WSON8.
If you are unable to do this by yourself, you can bring the notebook to a PC or electronics repair shop specialized in hardware repairs.
I can also do this work for you for cheap, but you have to send the notebook to me.

    AfuEfix64.efi jumper.rom /P /B /N /reboot

I run this command and my YEPO is dead (BLACK screen, NO logo, NO BIOS)

YEPO is identical to Jumper EZBook 3 Pro
