I finally got Phoenix OS to work as dual boot in my cube i7 book, but is important to activate the option for extra battery in order to have the computer a little cooler. Has the same problem than Remix OS, it gets very hot, but with the battery saver activated in the adjustments menu it’s not so terrible. Well, you get Android nougat for your 2 in 1, but if you want it to work properly you have to setup it well: first you have to stop the self-rotation in the proper position, otherwise the screen is upside down, then uninstall the chinese apps for email, texting and so on, and after a while you end up with a nice new OS in which many of the apps I have tried are functioning fine. Oh, I forgot, I installed it in a new partition, from 4 to 34 gb (for 32 gb installation it needs a partition of 34 gb) depending on the size of your drive, in ntfs format. Good Luck and enjoy
April 21, 2017 at 1:46 pm #65812Have you tried to open the keyboard and check is the touchpad is unplugged? to open it you just need to slide a thin plastic tool from the usb port and be carefull with the cables
April 20, 2017 at 12:16 am #65714The conectors in the left side of the tablet are all a little too long in distance to connect, so I slice half milimeter of the plastic protecting the metalic end of the cable and it plugs much better.
April 19, 2017 at 8:06 pm #65708Brotect Airglass Protector, clean, resistant, light, good response to touch … great
April 19, 2017 at 7:39 pm #65707The ocube case can be used with the stylus, but is not closing perfectly
April 19, 2017 at 7:36 pm #65706Try brotect airglass protector for best response and resistance, lightness
April 19, 2017 at 7:30 pm #65705I use brotect airglass protector, is great: clean, light, resistant and you get good touch response.
My stylus is the fujitsu t4220, best for our tablet.
I did the complete thermal mod, and the tablet runs much cooler. However with a 1 mm thermal pad of 10cm x 5cm you will get 10 degrees cooler and is very easy to install (unlike the full thermal mod: the cooper plate is harder to get and to cut but you get 20, 30 or more degrees cooler).
April 19, 2017 at 7:11 pm #65701I use the fujitsu t4220 and is very good
April 19, 2017 at 7:09 pm #65700I’m using this cover: https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B01ABSXY26/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
is universal but fits quite well the cube i7 book and can be used as stand, it protects well the corners, so I’m pretty happy with it. I have the ocube too and both cases are worthy.
April 19, 2017 at 1:47 pm #65669How to get dual boot option on cube i7 book? I got it after installing remix os, but the next ime I turn on the computer it just comes to built-in EFI Shell and I can’t start windows nor remix os. The only way was pressing the reset button and then I can use then boot manager and use both OS, but just for a second time because the next time I turn on the computer I finally get permanently the EFI Shell and can’t start, and the reset button stops working. I get back everything to work with the original hard disc (I have two, the original with 64 gb and a KingSpec of 250 gb, in the second one I’m trying to use the dual boot win10 / remix os). I’m looking in the BIOS setup to find something that prevents the tablet of starting normally with both operative systems, but I haven’t find it, yet. Anyone was luckier than me who can help us to use dual boot on the cube i7 book (or the stylus, or the mix plus, which are almost the same tablet).

April 5, 2017 at 3:58 pm #64721Papa Yoyo is right, the Fujitsu T4020/ T4220 is the best stylus for our cube i7 stylus/book. Has two buttons and comes with a few nibs, and as we have the same screen that the surface pro 2 (not the surface pro 3 or 4) I have been searching deeply in its forums and found no better options than this. But I couldn’t find it so cheap, it cost me arround 30€ on Amazon (from Spain).

also to mention that the screen sensibility to the touch remains perfect.
April 5, 2017 at 3:10 pm #64719This is my screen protector, BROTECT Airglass by protectionfilms24, and is great, is flexible crystal, not a plastic film, is thin, light, clean, easy to install and it don’t gets broken when you push hard on the screen (I broke a common chinese tempered glass protector while I was doing the thermal mod, but the screen remains perfect). I really recomend it.
this is the link to the seller website, but you can find it also in Amazon.
