with the Converter 8 is still a problem, while it is charging the touch screen doesn’t work well, but without charging that’s is fine.

Good info/work. I would try Lubuntu v19.10. I think it’s has a pretty recent kernel and it will prob run the fastest (lightest) of all the others with the Lxqt desktop.

I only had freezes when booting from USB. After installing it ony my SSD as a dual boot via Project Croissant, there were no freezes or other problems like that. I think the USB speed is too slow for the system to run smoothly.

I found that you can solve this problem by installing the Intel chipset inf files.

Then the Intel XTU program. Undervolt the cpu and gpu by 50 millivolt.
