I also have this problem after a fresh install of Windows 10. Screen orientation works but tablet mode does not activate automatically, + the keyboard and track pad remain active. Has anyone managed to fix the issue?

TLDR; version is Teclast is garbage, regret ever buying it…

AFAIK adding the kionix drivers as Sensor I/O device should work. Once you get it installed/visible in dm and the screen is still inverted you might have to tweak a registry key. If so, search for “kionix & inverted screen”.

It is the gestures on the trackpad. Going from extreme edges swiping from up to down, down to up, left to right etc all are gestures that I can’t seem to find a way to turn off.

The Magic Ben Mag1 definitely looks the best, the dual heat pipes should help as the Chuwi Minibook Core M3-8100Y I have hit 94 degrees C and that was only using an 8W TDP. So the more cooling the better.

I just installed and booted ElementaryOS 5.1 from USB (wrote with balenaEtcher) without a problem as second partition on emmc.

Grub works fine too. If it matters I think my EzBook is V3 (Bios from 30/9/2017)

I always use special because vanilla does not boot.
