Mine says 7.7 seconds but I don’t have a v4, I have a v2. I haven’t changed any settings in the bios.
I use a security program by 360 and it reports my startup time being 1 minute. (The time it takes to get into Windows and for the program to start). It keeps a history of times and they’re on average 40-60 seconds. I’m still using the factory EMMC due to problems I encountered when installing a SSD.
November 9, 2017 at 3:23 am #74588hello, I have a question, how do I print screen on the Ezbook 3pro? Thaks!
You could use the Snipping Tool built into Windows. Just set it to full-screen snip mode.

I contacted them it’s okay but they had to give me credit at least. It’s not uncommon for retailers and AliExpress sellers to use my reviews. Almost none give me credit which sucks…
@chris, If you’re not too tired of reviewing all the different Jumper (or Celeron N3450) devices, you should test the Jumper EZbook 3S and/or compare it to the Chuwi Lapbook 14.1. The 3S has the same processor, screen size, but comes with a 256GB SSD. Looks like a respectable machine for the money and now we know it’s likely possible to get Linux running on it (via that guy’s EZbook 3 Pro thread over on Linuxquestions.org – link I posted above)
The 3S does look promising. In fact, it seems easier to get it in China at the moment than the Silver Ezbook 3 pro with SSD slot. However, in a comment somewhere else someone said it has a plastic body so it makes it think it could have the same keyboard flex problems that Chris pointed out with the Ezbook 3. I am skeptical but I would like to see it get a good rating as it has a bigger hard drive along with the same ram and cpu as the 3 pro.
October 12, 2017 at 3:51 pm #73292I have a v2 EZB3 Pro. I don’t think I actually get 8 hours more likely 6 or 7. For the most part, I am just web browsing and doing office work with screen brightness at 25%.
Anyways here is what the battery report shows for “battery life estimates”.

I didn’t actually solve the problem. I resorted to sending the SSD back to Kingspec for a refund. I’ll make due with a smaller harddrive. All I really do is use the Office programs along with web browsing so, the current 64gig drive is enough. The performance increases from the SSD drive would have been nice though.
To anyone who stumbles upon this post, George G’s suggestion of RF interference might be worth trying as the signal only dropped to an unusable level when the SSD drive was installed. I’ve also noticed the SSD ribbon runs over top the antenna wire so the suggestion is worth trying. I, however, didn’t try it.
October 6, 2017 at 12:27 pm #73092Thank you for the response and suggestions.-The SSD shows up fine in device manager and disk management.
-I’m still running Windows from the eMMC, as I didnt see a point in cloning it if the WiFi didn’t work.
– I don’t really use Bluetooth but for sake of testing I tried to pair it with my phone. It seemed to pair ok but then again the phone is next to the computer.
As per your suggestions, here is what I’ve tried:
-I’ve tried adding tape to the antenna connection on the board.
-I’ve even tried to add tape under the SSD ribbon which the antenna cable runs under.
-No luck with either.
I’ve been using this as my main computer since it was released, so I dont really want to send it in to get “fixed”. I am leaning towards biting the bullet and returning the harddrive and trying to make due with the eMMC.
October 5, 2017 at 6:19 am #73052Thanks for the response.
I couldn’t find the audio setting that which that post talked about let alone one one to do with WiFi.

Yes, please let us know. That would be great. I actually haven’t bought a SSD yet.
August 18, 2017 at 12:37 am #70737Thanks for the script. I’ve added a bit to it. Control + Left = Home, Control + Right = End
Script:
$^Up::
Send {PgUp}
Return
$^Down::
Send {PgDn}
Return
$^Right::
Send {END}
Return
$^Left::
Send {HOME}
Return
August 5, 2017 at 2:45 am #70134I haven’t had the chance to test them, but I was able to extract the SIO folder from the 1gb file on that google drive link (If anyone wants to do it: just save it to your google drive then right click on the file, go to “open with” then use one of the zip extractors for google drive, select the folders you wish to extract, then extract).
Anyways, again untested, but here’s a link to them: https://uploadfiles.io/btsin
July 27, 2017 at 3:37 am #69723I don’t know if anyone else has tried those registry tweaks, but I did. It could be what I am used to but I found them too jumpy. I reverted back to my old settings within five minutes of use. So, yea, make sure you make a backup of the Key before you edit it.
Here are the settings I am using right now:
“MouseSpeed”=”1”
“MouseThreshold1″=”6”
“MouseThreshold2″=”10”
“MouseSensitivity”=”6”I am interested in seeing more about the Intel Serial IO driver, but you would hope the Intel Driver Utility would update that too if it found any problems.
July 15, 2017 at 3:02 pm #69283One more screen related thing (that you reminded me of) :
My screen still has this border inside it, does yours? Check out this thread: https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/ezbook-pro-3-screen/
I’m not sure its condensation, I’m on vacation at the moment and moved from a humid country back to a not so humid country and it’s still there. The house I am in at the moment has the central air running all the time, so it shouldn’t be that humid indoors.
July 15, 2017 at 2:59 pm #69281I have the 2nd gen ezbook pro 3 (ssd slot, no wireless ac) and I can confirm a buzz or whining sound when the brightness is under 40%. I normally leave it at 25%, but it goes away at 50%.
July 15, 2017 at 2:54 pm #69278I have an ezbook 3 pro 2nd gen. (the one with the SSD slot but without wireless AC) and my battery bar normally shows a “full runtime” being 8 hours. All I really do is office work and browsing but if I had to guess it’s really about 6 or 7 hours. Here’s a pic of what battery bar shows at the moment.
