Hi,
you are right. It seems that this coupon expired. A real shame, that was a good deal for the Ezbook 3 pro. You can try to google a newer one that works, it just takes a bit of time. However, it’s also fun and definitely worth it.
September 18, 2017 at 8:26 pm #72312Hi Andy,
you can find a coupon for the Ezbook 3 Pro here: https://www.gearbestblog.de/gearbest-coupons/tablets/jumper/?deals=886#
It’ll bring the price down to 230$ which should be roughly 195€, maybe a bit less. Enjoy.
September 13, 2017 at 10:27 am #72060Glossy and supposedly IPS?! That would be even a better batch than the EZbook 3 Plus! Very nice for you that you got a decent device.
September 12, 2017 at 12:29 pm #72005Hi Ed,
yes, you can activate a new key without reinstalling Windows 10. Just make sure the key is meant to be fo the edition (Home / Pro).
September 12, 2017 at 10:59 am #71995Hi. Just out of curiosity: is it an IPS or a TN panel?
September 11, 2017 at 10:47 am #71929Hi!, Jumper EzBook 3 Plus owner here, now having a nice brick after changing boot order in BIOS. Same crap as the PRO model with the BIOS…
Whaaaat? Is this the 90s again (actually, that wasn’t even possible in the 90s….)?! How on earth is that even possible from a technical point of view? 😀
First no sound after installing an SSD, now bricked after changing boot order? xD
September 9, 2017 at 10:49 am #71862Yes, I think it’s a cost issue. They probably try to cut a few corners to make up for the nice metal build quality, I guess. AOU is not an unknown display manufacturer and they have a bit of reputation. I was really astonished by that display, especially given the anti-glare coating.
September 9, 2017 at 8:26 am #71858If oyou have another use for your device (your mom), it’s fine. I don’t have another use for it so my situation is a bit different. If was in the exact same position and you and came to the conclusion that the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 is the best current alternative to the Plus. Although it is quite a bit more expensive, it seems like real quality and the specs alone are worth the premium. I’ve had hopes for the Chuwi Lapbook Air, but the Core M version is far, far away and I need a decent device now.
If you’re demanding the absolute best in quality, then the Mi Notebook Air 13 is there, well almost. But that Mi Air 13 also gets seriously hot to the touch just above the keyboard when you do something demanding. If you have seen my review you’ll know. 50 degrees C+ is not good.
Hi Chris, yes, that’s the one that I’ll get now.
I’m just disappointed that the Chuwi Lapbook for literally half the price has a better screen than this one. I might have been a bit over the top, but I just don’t get their recent loss of build quality. It’s true, there are some great improvements like the precision touch pad and the build quality (except the hinge on my device apparently), but I don’t look at the hinge or touchpad. I look at the display all the time. It’s a deal breaker for me, but for others it might be alright. Guess I’m too spoiled by my Lapbook 14.1 display.
September 9, 2017 at 8:20 am #71857I agree with the screen. It is not a catastrophe, but for the price i feel simply scammed. That is the real issue. $450 was the initial price and this is Xiaomi Air 12 territory. Nuff said.
September 8, 2017 at 12:53 pm #71803Hi Zi Jin Cheng,
yes, it’s a bit worse than in your video. Just keeping it on my lap and moving just a little makes it recline. Really didn’t enjoy it :(.

September 8, 2017 at 11:53 am #71792I think there are two major problems: the vertical viewing angles really suck and for this reason you would have to adjust the hinge. But the hing itself is so loose that you constantly have to adjust it, making the laptop basically impossible to use. You are more busy finding the sweet spot for the screen than actual work.
@Kalle
You should open a ticket first being a bit angry and stating the issues you have and that you would like to return the device. Then, you’ll send them the device with the RMA document and a document of the shipping costs. Once they obtain the device (which takes 3-4 weeks at least), they’ll refund you on Paypal or the GB wallet as you stated. I would highly advise not to inform Paypal, as Gearbest might be angry about now having the device back yet. It’s not necessary at this point and could potentially cause problems.

You can also try to get a refund of the shipping costs via Paypal. At least in Germany they currently have an offer to reimburse up to 25€ if you upload the postal office document and if you have initially paid for the device with Paypal. Have been using that a few times and was really satisfied. I think you can do that up to 12 times year.
Not sure if this offer is availabe in other countries as well.
September 8, 2017 at 9:58 am #71774Okay, got mine today and just agree with all of you guys 100%. This is an insanely bad device, especially considering Jumper’s recent quality products.
The screen is Ezbook 2 “quality” at best, which was absolutely fine for end of 2016 at a price point of around 200$, but not for their “premium” device with a Core M in 2017 for 450$. It has a precision touchpad at least, which isn’t too bad. Keyboard is alright as well, quite usable and nice to type on. The hinge is really just as bad as the screen and opens all the time. It’s very loose and you can’t control the reclining by adjusting the angle, it always happens automatically. Non existent quality control from Jumper’s side…
I’ve opened a ticket at Gearbest to get a full refund, this is completely ridiculous for the asking price.
Now I’ve ordered the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 2016 model for around 530€ and get a real premium device with a nice IPS screen and not such a hyped lemon that wasn’t able to keep any of their promises.
September 6, 2017 at 8:59 pm #71679Looks like a hardware issue to me, especially the flickering is most likely related to a bad screen. I’d return it and get a new one.
