So how is the performance?
Is it worth doing it? Or it’s not the much?
Because I suspect the performance is on the chipset cpu Atom …
which is way slower than the previous Mi Pad 1.

just do as every of us did, lauch the script or RW and try to see if you gain something avoiding thermal throtling. I thisk that this script work great for n series, with tdp lock at 6W…moving to 10W you really gain a lot with few degree more on the soc. I try to move my n-series from 6 to 15W and i see some problem, maybe due the “poor”…[Read more]

No luck with Puppy or with Lubuntu. All inputs (mouse or touch) were inverted, and they don’t load after updates and restart.
Manjaro doesn’t install.
And now not even Windows install.
I can still access BIOS, but that’s about it.

Try Manjaro XFCE then. I’ve heard many ppl with other machines with touchpad issues with Ubuntu said it worked with Manjaro.

No luck with Ubuntu Mate… The mouse input is upside down and it just won’t boot after restart. Boot loop on the initial Teclast screen.
I’m going to try Puppy Linux next.

Hey guys.
I have a Teclast X98 Plus A5C6, stuck in Windows Automatic Repair boot loop.
Any ideas on how to break the boot loop and repair windows (or even trying Linux)?
Thanks in advance.

Are there any compatibility issues? I was a little worried about the drivers in such devices, tbh.
Now I have to find a way to break the boot loop and install it…

Hey guys.
I have a Teclast X98 Plus A5C6, stuck in Windows Automatic Repair boot loop.
I’m seriously considering trying Linux, as Windows 10 drives the tablet to its limits. Are there any suggestions?
Thank you.

Hi Toby,
I have installed the drivers and it is still not working. Device manager can see the drivers though. This is the second time it happened and it is very random. The first instance, it worked after reset. The most recent one it didn’t.
Any suggestions? Is it possible that the screen is faulty but the drivers can still be installed?

If you are an extremely casual gamer, a regular work tablet will suit your needs. However, if you expect to play something more hardcore, you will need a top-notch gaming tablet. You Can Buy a Gaming Tablet Under $200.
