Not yet for some reason, I struggle to get it over about 10W with no thermal throttling but others I hit about 15W.

Great work. I wonder what happened to the post. Sorry, no idea what the silly forum did! But pulling 19W is crazy!
I’m having some odd issue if I run the shortcut it never works and I’ve checked it’s 100% correct. If I cut and paste the command it works fine. So annoying this issue.

Another thing I would love to do is somehow stop the RAM from clocking down from 2400Mhz to 2133Mhz. If there is a way to force 2400Mhz DDR4 instead of the 2133Mhz all there Gemini Lakes seem to run max. The RAM spec looks like it can do it according to HWinfo and the timing.
I know it’s not much of a boost but if we can get the absolute top…[Read more]

Hi,
Great info, I couldn’t get the GPU to hold its turbo well enough like the Apollo Lake. Disabling C-States helps also boost performance at the cost of a little battery. I used a few other ways to help also but now this works a treat! What’s the code for unlimited TDP I want to see how far I can really push this N4100.
Or maybe a…[Read more]

Chris G replied to the topic NEW Teclast 2-1 for 2020? Some rumors here? in the forum General Discussion 6 years, 6 months ago
Next year for the next-gen Intel chips and hopefully finally someone uses some AMD chips!
The Magic Ben Mag1 definitely looks the best, the dual heat pipes should help as the Chuwi Minibook Core M3-8100Y I have hit 94 degrees C and that was only using an 8W TDP. So the more cooling the better.

Hi, the only new model I know of this the 2019 December launch of the Teclast M16 and F6 Plus 2-in-1 13.3″ laptop but it’s a Celeron N4100.
I hope we have a new 10th gen Core M3 or similar laptops or 2-in-1 tablets for 2020.
And also I want to review the GDP P2 Max or Magic Ben Mag1. Just asking around if Banggood or Gearbest can offer me a nice…[Read more]

Nice little size and full spec type-c is good. But eMMC and not SSD right as it’s too small for it.

It’s shown here:

But my PowerAdd Power delivery power bank works well on my Y13. about 11.6W charge rate only according to Battery Bar Pro.
Overall very happy with my Y13 and I think I’ll keep it, it will replace my Aerobook which is faster but I prefer touch support. Also should…[Read more]

@peteronowak If you look in the comments someone has the Y11, all good apart from the keys are quite hard to see the letters on them. Because it’s silver and not backlit. I’ve reviewed the Teclast F5 search for that, the exact same machine apart from the colors used. I really like the F5, just no full-sized USB port and 5 hours battery life tops!…[Read more]

Hi, I’ve had mine for a week (review coming really soon 1-2 days) And yes it can make not only calls but text, WhatsApp, etc all like a normal phone. The tablet is okay, but a non-laminated screen. 2560 x 1600 lags a bit on the Helio X27 like other tablets using this chipset.
But you get a lot fo the price, good battery life, GPS, phone calls,…[Read more]

So the screws are behind the bottom glass bezel and not the ones under the rear lid? This is bad news if those come loose with no way to tighten them!

Not good and very rare this happened. Your best bet would be a repair shop that does this kind of work.

@elenjaime Hi, please try this. Hold the power button down for 15 seconds. Then plug it in and leave it for 4 hours charging. Then press the power button for 4 seconds. It should come back to life. Let us know how you get on!

Doesn’t seem right as per my review and my own laptop. Check the thermals with HWinfo that it’s not throttling. Also, update your Intel graphics drivers and make sure nothing is running in the background. Something is definitely not right.
