Back in April I reviewed the Jumper EZPad 5S, it was okay, a Surface 3 style 2-in-1 it had some issues powering external hard drives from the USB ports. But I did like the solid metal alloy body, kickstand, and the build quality was good. But the touchpad was a bit too small and gestures couldn’t be disabled proving to be quite annoying.
Well, now the new EZPad 5SE version is coming with stylus support and a slightly revised design. Still an Atom Z8300, 4GB of RAM and 64GB running Windows 10. Hopefully, those USB ports will power hard drives now. Funny, looking at the press images, the stylus looks like a Note 4 or 5 stylus? Is it a Wacom screen? 1920 x 1080 10.6″ could be the old Surface 2 Pro screen which was Wacom.
And a cloned Wacom Galaxy Note-like stylus would be using Wacom. Interesting. I won’t be checking this one out as it’s just too similar to the EZPad 5S to. Gearbest has it listed for $168 with coupon sesep
