AllDoCube KNote 8 – 1440p 8GB RAM Core M3-7Y30

AllDoCube has upgraded the KNote I looked at a few months ago, gone is the dull 1080p IPS, now replaced with a fully laminated 2560 x 1440p 13.3″ IPS. The Celeron N3450 is also out, replaced with a Core M3-7Y30 7th Gen. Seems there is still no word from Intel on the 8th Gen Core M3-8Y30 if it’s ever coming. The RAM has also been upgraded to 8GB from 6GB and it has a 256GB SSD, not eMMC...[Read More]

Chuwi Corebook To Get 8GB of RAM

Chuwi just recently posted on their twitter, if they pass $100,000 mark they will be upgrading for free the CoreBook’s RAM from 6GB to 8GB putting it then inline with competitors Core M3-7Y30 tablets. The current money raised is $80,000, so 20k short but I can see them reaching this goal. I hope the next move is to make the 128GB eMMC a SATA3 SSD instead, at least like what we have in the Cu...[Read More]

The RAM has increased to 8GB of dual channel 1866Mhz RAM, the Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 is out, it’s still fanless but now has a much more powerful Core M3-7Y30. Sadly it seems cost cutting means the Jumper EZBook 3 Plus shipped out with a rather poor TN panel, the vertical viewing angles are very poor...[Read More]

Chuwi Lapbook Air – 14.1″ Premium Core M3 Thin Laptop With Backlit keyboard

Update #2 Confirmed by Chuwi France, Core M3. Great news. I was worried it was an Apollo Lake again, maybe there will be a cheaper Apollo Lake version. But Core M3 it is. This premium build, a fully laminated screen with slim bezels and a backlit keyboard it’s stacking up to be a very promising laptop from Chuwi and their first Core M3 product. I’ll be reviewing this one as soon as I c...[Read More]

Onda Obook 11 Pro – $299 Core M3-7Y30 Windows 10 Tablet

Remember the first Obook 11 Pro design? Well, I sure do as it was a shameless Surface Book clone, it never made it past the prototype stage maybe due to legal reasons, but Onda now has the new Obook 11 Pro. This is thin 8.9mm all metal build 11.6″ 1080p tablet, it has the powerful fanless Core M3-7Y30 in it like the Cube Mix Plus. But unlike the Mix Plus, it’s got a full-size USB 3.0 p...[Read More]
