This must be another case of the Intel 14nm shortage and rising Intel chipset costs (Yet again!) The Tecalst F5 which is powered by the Gemini Lake Celeron N4100 now there is this the Teclast F5R that popped up on Gearbest. It’s powered by the last gen Apollo Lake N3450. Keeps the 8GB of RAM and they have doubled the SSD storage from 128GB to 256GB. The CPU is about 15% slower than the N4100...[Read More]
Below is the video review of Teclast’s F5, a super lightweight thin 11.6″ touchscreen laptop, that runs Windows 10 Home. If you’re looking for a 360-degree hinge Yoga style laptop. This one definitely worth a look, but it’s not short of compromises due to the slim size, lack of ports and small 11.6″ screen. Due to the hinge, of course, it can be used as a rather heavy...[Read More]
My review of the Jumper EZBook X1 is now up, it’s a cheaper version of the Teclast F5 that sells for $319 on sale, this one is only $259, however, you get half the RAM at 4GB, no stylus support and a nonlaminated display with about a 1mm gap. The review is below and if you’re eyeing the F5 but don’t need the stylus support it’s definitely one to check out. Jumper set a mass...[Read More]
After missing out on the first batch sent, then super slow delivery with DPD I finally have Teclast’s little F5, a promising 11.6″ Gemini Lake Celeron N4100 laptop with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. A 360-degree hinge, 1080p fully laminated touchscreen and a super light and thin design. For an ultraportable travel laptop, it ticks all the boxes but one, it doesn’t have a full sized USB port. ...[Read More]
The Teclast F5 is a 11.6" yoga style laptop with a 360-degree hinge. It's powered by an Intel Celeron N4100 (Gemini Lake) with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 128GB SSD (Upgradable) and runs Windows 10. The laptop supports an active stylus, has a USB 3.1 Type-c port for charging and data. And Intel Wireless AC 3165. It's battery is good for 5 hours and the Teclast F5 is a slim 13mm and weighs under a kilo.
Mike Warner has posted a few images of his new shiny Teclast F5 on his twitter account that he was lucky enough to get already. From the photos posted and what Mike has confirmed, the fully laminated display is rather decent for 1080p, the bottom bezel as expected is rather large and the build quality overall is good. He also checked the SSD and confirmed it’s only the 2242 SATA3 M.2 size, n...[Read More]
Teclast’s new laptop hybrid the F5 is a smaller, weaker version of the Teclast F6 Core M3 I reviewed. This new Intel Celeron N4100 Gemini Lake model has a Lenovo Yoga style hinge, 360-degrees to use it has a tablet or the keyboard as a stand like the Teclast F6. One of the good things is it will be the first (And not the last I hope) Gemini Lake laptop or tablet to ship with 8GB of DDR4 RAM....[Read More]

Images of Teclast’s F5 360-Degree hinge yoga stylus Gemini lake N41000 laptop.
This one leaked out, the Teclast F5 is coming. But nothing on the Teclast Weibo of this new Gemini Lake N4100 model. It has an 11.6″ yoga style 360-degree hinge screen. Touchscreen, my guess is 1080p (hopefully fully laminated). 8GB of RAM this is great it will be the first 8GB DDR4 Gemini lake laptop from the Chinese brands. Up to now, everyone is using 4GB due to DDR4 prices. No other info...[Read More]
