The 14″ Atom notebook from Jumper, the EZbook 2 is coming soon with the slightly faster revised Cherry Trail Atom X5 Z8350 according to Gearbest’s listing. The original Z8300 model I reviewed a while back turned out to be a decent laptop for the price thanks to it’s 14″ 1080p matte coated screen, 4GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC. The rest of the specs haven’t changed at all o...[Read More]
Since Jumper hasn’t given us a stock factory Windows 10 image, I’ve created the next best thing that should work. I did a fresh Windows 10 install on my EZBook and it wasn’t as fluid, had driver issues and the screen looked like it wasn’t running full colors only half of them. Plus the most annoying part, the screen made a high pitch noise. I tried all the Intel GFX drivers...[Read More]
The Jumper EZbook 2 is back up on sale again at GearBest. This time around there is a coupon, EZBOOK002 that will take the already good $169 price down to just $160. For the price that’s quite the deal, it’s not a perfect machine. But it’s got 4GB of RAM, a 64GB eMMC Windows 10 and a 14.1″ 1080p anti-glare screen. All powered by an Atom X5 Z8300. Like always, check out my ...[Read More]

Jumper EZbook 2 videos. Hands on videos of the Jumper EZBook 2.
Jumper's EZBook 2 is a cheap 14" 1080p laptop powered by an Atom X5 Z8300, with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB eMMC. It has a large 10,800mAh battery, Wireless N, BT 4.0, mini HDMI out, MicroSD support, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port.
Laptop tops with 1080p screens and 4gb of ram don’t come any cheaper than this. The Jumper EZBook 2 is a 14-inch laptop that has a very MacBook look about it. And the specs seem promising for the price. An anti-glare 1920 x 1200 matte screen, quad-core Atom X5 Z8300, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of eMMC storage, Windows 10 Home and a rather large 10,800 mAh battery. The build of the laptop is mostly pl...[Read More]
Now I’ve had my Jumper EZBook 2, a Macbook clone running Windows 10 Home, with an Atom X5 Z8300 and 4GB of RAM for a few days now. Here are some benchmarks of the laptop. So far apart from the dodgy USB ports that will not power my external 2.5″ hard drives and the bouncy keyboard the Jumper EZBook 2 isn’t as bad I would have assumed for the price tag of only $189. Sure temps max...[Read More]
My first Chinese laptop for review, the Jumper EZBook 2 from Jumper. I’ve had a few people asking me to review the Pipo W9S laptop, but I was put off it with its 1366 x 768 TN Panel. This one at least has a 1920 x 1080 IPS screen. This one is $189 for GearBest. Unboxing and first impressions below: Timecodes: 02:28 – Weight and thickness 03:32 – Ports and walkaround 06:09 –...[Read More]
Edit #2: Here is my full Jumper EZbook 2 review, covering everything I could think off. Not a bad laptop, but far from perfect. Edit: I’ve received my EZBook 2, here is the unboxing and first impressions: http://techtablets.com/2016/06/jumper-ezbook-2-laptop-unboxing-first-impressions/ I’ve had a few requests over the months to also review some of the new Atom ultrabook-style laptops. ...[Read More]
