A while back I reviewed the PiPo X8 dual boot mini PC. It’s an impressive little hybrid mini pc that surprised me with great performance and a crazy fast eMMC drive that had 4k random reads and writes like an SSD. Now PiPo have released the new PiPo X9 version of this popular model with an upgraded larger screen, now 8.9″ and sporting a 1920 x 1200 resolution. The rest of the specs remain the same, apart from the unit having Windows 10 now instead of Windows 8.1 as the stock Windows version.

I wonder if the microphone is going to work on this version. The mic didn’t work on any of the pipo x8s that I bought.

I’m pretty sure mine worked as I did a Skype call on it and I don’t recall having issues.
