Netbox A5 An Android 6.0 4k Media Player

Another 4k Android 6.0 media player has been released with the latest Amlogic S905X quad-core SoC. This chipset can decode VP9 profile-2 up to 4k@60fps and H.265 up to 4k 60fps. It has 2GB of RAM and a 16GB ROM. But you can expand your storage using the USB 2.0 ports and MicroSD card slot. Connectivity is handled by Wireless N and a 100mbits LAN port.

It also has KODI version 16 is preinstalled as a media player. The listing price for this unit is $49.69. I’m not sure I’ll review one of these as I prefer dual boot unit able to run Windows too. This of course, is only Android.

  1. Hi Chris- what dual boot unit can you recommend like above?

    • I quite liked the Pipo X9, but that one is a hybrid with a screen. But dual os. Most of them are Android only these cheaper ones.
