A new action camera recently released in China it’s the Meknic A12. I’ve seen there are plenty of 4k cameras out of China but this one looks a little better than the typical ones. Unlike the others that typically only do 4k 24 FPS, this one shoots at 4k 30FPS, comes with a 30m IP68 waterproof case and remote control.
It’s got 14MP Panasonic sensor with a 170-degree wide angles lens. It’s powered an Ambarella A12 chipset which is one of the better SoC’s for these type of cameras. The rear screen is 320 x 240, it’s battery is 1050mAh which good for 55 minutes of 4k shooting. It’s also got Wifi and supports up to 128GB MicroSD’s.
It’s selling for $109.99 with coupon Meknic over at Gearbest here.

Will you review Chinese ActionCams Chris?
It might be a market for reviews of those. Everyone knows that the €400 GoPro Hero 5 is good and then you see the Chinese ActionCams costing from €50 and upto similar prices as the cheapest GoPro’s but no one knows if any of them would be worth the money.

Thinking about it as I want for for my mountain biking, the issue like always is time. Never enough of it to review all this tech.
