Those waiting for the Mi Pad 2 Windows 10 version (myself included) might have a longer wait. As many of the online retailers like Geekbuying and Banggood have pushed the release dates of the tablet back to the 25th of February. It was originally meant to be released back in December, that then become the second week of January and now February?
The 64GB Andriod version sold out in just 5 minutes all stock on its release a few weeks ago, my guess is Xiaomi just can’t meet the demand so they are giving themselves another month to ramp up stock levels in order to meet the demand. Hopefully, it won’t sell out in minutes, second release round.
The 16GB Android version was reviewed in December and turned out to be one of the best tablets of 2015. So, naturally I look forward to reviewing the Windows model.
